John Cook Says That Ice Ages Occur At 3,000 PPM

This led to CO2 levels falling below 3000 parts per million which was low enough to initiate glaciation – the growing of ice sheets.

CO2 was higher in the late Ordovician

In John Cook’s world, 400 PPM fries the planet, but 3,000 PPM causes ice ages.

  1. Traitor In Chief says:

Cultists don’t experience cognitive dissonance because they are cognition free.

  2. Jorge says:

I honestly think John Cook is a psychopath. Bonafiable.

  3. Chewer says:

The progressive gene is the culprit and unfortunately it demands psychotic & irrational behavior, and has been around for nearly 50,000 years.

  4. Blade says:

    Attention Steve,

There is a typo in that headline, John Cook should be John Kook.

  5. NikFromNYC says:

Promotion of Reefer Madness junk science that dilutes respect for law is why our civilization is still divided: there’s no functioning political party for social libertarians to turn to so its endless culture war instead, a nation skillfully divided by authoritarian statists who wish to conquer instead of debate. Libertarian Ron Paul’s son is unelectable due to the Sex In The City era urban women demographic being allergic to both abortion bans, and sons named after rape fantasist Ayn Rand.

  6. Jimbo says:

John Cook knows full well that 400ppm or 500ppm won’t do diddly to the planet. He probably suspects a great greening but won’t admit it. Even if the world dived into cooling they will insist that they were in fact right, even when wrong.
