The ‘Boss’ supported Gore and Kerry, and I can never forgive him for that. He is a leftard of the highest degree and never could sing. Good song writer, lousy human being.
There were many better bands in the seventies, Springstink does not even make the top ten. Great self promotion though.

Google “best live bands of the 70s”, and there is hardly a single mention of Springsteen, and none that I found anywhere in the top ten. I get that you are a fan, but then ABBA fans say the same about ABBA.

I was not born in 1969, I own a 1969 Buick GS 400 convertible, and was into rock at that time. I also have an associates degree in Music Performance and spent many years on stage.
I’m pretty sure there was no Internet in the 1970s, and ABBA was awesome too, as was Neil Diamond.
Worst concert ever was Jerry Jeff Walker passing out drunk at ASU.
Yes, the Internet was only a glimmer in Al Gore’s eye then, but in case you had not noticed, even us geezers know how to use it now. The E Street Band was a great live act, Springstink was a great song writer, but a lousy singer and even worse human being.
My brother had a ABBA 8 track that he bought to woo women, and we used to pop it in occasionally while cruising. I am more of a Who/Peter Frampton/Grand Funk/Allman Brothers/Cream/Bad Co/James Taylor/Cheap Trick fan, et al.
I actually cannot list a favorite, although if you have caught Frampton in the last decade, you have seen one of my top five.
