America’s Predicament Under Obama

Darkness On The Edge Of Town

If I could take one moment into my hands
Mister I ain’t a boy, no I’m a man
And I believe in a promised land

There’s a dark cloud rising from the desert floor
I packed my bags and I’m heading straight into the storm
Gonna be a twister to blow everything down
That ain’t got the faith to stand it’s ground

Blow away the dreams that tear you apart
Blow away the dreams that break your heart
Blow away the lies that leave you nothing
But lost and brokenhearted

Absolutely despicable. I cannot express words to describe how I feel about this. The country is truly going to hell in a hand basket. Preachers warned 40 years ago it would come to this. Know God, know peace. No God, no peace. The country is finished.

Springstink helped bring about our downfall. Wormtongue.

      • He’s The Boss. E-Street Band concerts from the late 70s were the greatest show on Earth.

        • gator69 says:

The ‘Boss’ supported Gore and Kerry, and I can never forgive him for that. He is a leftard of the highest degree and never could sing. Good song writer, lousy human being.

There were many better bands in the seventies, Springstink does not even make the top ten. Great self promotion though.

        • Springsteen/Clemons put on the best concerts – ever. You were a little kid at the time.

        • gator69 says:

          In your opinion.

        • If your were born in 69, then you were definitely a little kid in 1978.

        • gator69 says:

Google “best live bands of the 70s”, and there is hardly a single mention of Springsteen, and none that I found anywhere in the top ten. I get that you are a fan, but then ABBA fans say the same about ABBA.

          Some people like rap.

        • gator69 says:

I was not born in 1969, I own a 1969 Buick GS 400 convertible, and was into rock at that time. I also have an associates degree in Music Performance and spent many years on stage.

        • I’m pretty sure there was no Internet in the 1970s, and ABBA was awesome too, as was Neil Diamond.

Worst concert ever was Jerry Jeff Walker passing out drunk at ASU.

        • gator69 says:

Yes, the Internet was only a glimmer in Al Gore’s eye then, but in case you had not noticed, even us geezers know how to use it now. The E Street Band was a great live act, Springstink was a great song writer, but a lousy singer and even worse human being.

My brother had a ABBA 8 track that he bought to woo women, and we used to pop it in occasionally while cruising. I am more of a Who/Peter Frampton/Grand Funk/Allman Brothers/Cream/Bad Co/James Taylor/Cheap Trick fan, et al.

I actually cannot list a favorite, although if you have caught Frampton in the last decade, you have seen one of my top five.

        • Springsteen/Who/Stones/Pink Floyd/Fleetwood Mac/Eagles/Queen/Zepplin

          “Springsteen/Who/Stones/Pink Floyd/Fleetwood Mac/Eagles/Queen/Zepplin”

The soundtrack of my youth, and the golden age of rock.

        • Latitude says:

what in this world are you two old farts talking about?

        • They still get more radio air time 40 years later than any modern “bands” (if you can call them that.)

        • gator69 says:

Sorry Lat, didnt mean to exclude you, maybe this is a little more your speed.

        • Is that a human being?

        • gator69 says:

She’s no Bonnie Rait, and definitely not playing a song by my favorite guitar hero.

        • I saw her play with Asleep at the Wheel in 1980 for maybe 100 people at The Line Camp in Pojoaque, New Mexico. My date was the granddaughter of a deposed prince of Prussia.

Good show! All the way around. 😉

  2. Darkness comes before dawn. World leadership based on falsehoods are guaranteed to fail.

Obama is only one of the puppets. The decision to take totalitarian control of humans was made sixty-right years (2013 – 1945 = 68 yrs) ago. It was driven by irrational FEAR !
