The last remaining hope for alarmists was the Arctic ice scam. That is now dead, but they will continue to lie about it like the do with temperature, sea level, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, ocean pH, etc.
All they have left is data tampering, fake ad hoc theories and meaningless statements of increasing certainty. It is time for global warming to go down the Piltdown Man hole of scam science – where it belongs.

I laugh when the AGW crowd attacks any posts I or anyone else make on websites that the folks who did the research got ‘oil’ money. If it were not for that there would be virtually no real research debunking the rotted corpse that is AGW. The left will not give up on this, they never give up, they move the goalposts, as we have seen, with the coldest years being warmer than the hottest years of the past by 2047 nonsense. They will not go away, so eternal vigilance is the price we must pay.

There is a huge propaganda effort being mounted by those pushing for carbon taxes and unfortunately these people control government, science centers, media and the courts. We are entering a new age of willful ignorance where facts don’t matter, reason is shunned and censorship is growing in popularity. Pascal Bruckner outlines a new “Fanaticism of the Apocalypse” being promoted by schools and thousands of NGOs spending money to brainwash kids. The corrupt power behind the promotion of CO2 taxes controlled by the World Bank is vast the handful of organizations fighting them struggle because the game is rigged. I’m a realist about corruption as I live in Chicago and the scam, which is about $$$$, hasn’t even begun, but eventually it will. Christiana Figueres tipped her hand in addressing a question about the $100 billion Climate Fund promised by developed nations to the UN and told reporters she needs $1 trillion/year to be shifted from wealthy countries to poor countries. If Republicans lose control of the House in 2014, I have no doubt Obama would support the UN and redistribute US wealth. Obama is a transnational progressive, world without borders ideologue.

Very true, but the comparison to Piltdown may not be quite as close as a comparison to Lysenkoism. Except for whoever actually fabricated the fake Piltdown fossils, the experts were probably guilty more of confirmation bias than outright fraud. In the case of CAGW there is a whole class of “scientists” who have clearly falsified data for the sake of funding and fame — just like with Lysenko.
The CAGW proponents have lined their bank accounts by causing the poverty and hunger of untold thousands or millions.

I wonder how cool the earth has to get before they are forced to drop the scam. My worry is that cooling will last 20 years like it did ~1960s and 70s and then warming starts again before they officially drop it.
