This post needs a Homer/Hansen/Obama with his axe.
His first budget proposal, which proposed the largest spending in human history, was subtitled “A New Era of Responsibility”. By this year they were trying to spend around $4.2 trillion if I recall, with HHS getting $1 trillion. This was even before Obamacare was even on the table.
