Could the good people of Virginia vote to get Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax counties to secede?

I lived in Chesterfield County for 16 years. Politically, those three counties were really D.C., and
screwed up a lot of statewide elections.

Unfortunately the shutdown IMO hurt Ken C, Had there had been another month before the vote I believe there would have been a larger movement to Ken C.
Keep in mind that as attorney general he was very adamant in the investigation into Michael Manns’ activities.
In the end the investigation was as fraudulent as ‘You can keep your insurance, period”
In another month the Obamacare debacle would have helped Ken C. even more.

  4. Anthony S says:

“McAuliffe also outspent Cuccinelli 10-to-1 on television advertising in the last few weeks of the campaign, the Access Project said.

Underscoring the national interest in the race, about 70 percent of the money raised came from outside the state. That is by far the highest percentage for any U.S. gubernatorial race in history…”

  5. Gamecock says:

Sad that Virginia would submit herself to a national Democrat. From Thomas Jefferson to Terry McClinton.
