Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought.
in the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country (Figure 2)
That story wasn’t scary and wasn’t going to raise any money for NASA, so they massively altered the data to create a warming trend. The 2014 version adds 1.3C/century warming from 1976 to 1998, which didn’t exist 15 years ago.

Thanks to the Climategate emails that surfaced in late November 2009, the public now knows that governments manipulate information.
Still unrecognized is the CHAOS and TERROR in August 1945 that changed science into a tool of propaganda and the course of world history.

More detailed information and forgiveness for unreported events in August 1945 may be the quickest way to restore integrity to constitutional governments and science:
_ a.) Did Japan have an atomic bomb plant at Konan, Korea?
_ b.) Did Stalin’s USSR troops capture that facility in August?
_ c.) Was an American crew of a B-29 plane captured there?
Only by coincidence (as the former student of Paul Kazuo Kuroda) did I come across these hints of reasons why communists and capitalists might form an alliance to save themselves and the world from nuclear annihilation by misrepresenting the energy in cores of atoms and stars.
It is amazing, all the cooling from 1930-1980 while CO2 was increasing the entire time. All the recent global warming seems to represent is a return to pre-1960 normals. It is the 1930-1980 cooling period that seems to be the anomaly or maybe just part of a cycle.
There hasn’t been any recent global warming. It ended by 1998.

I stand corrected.
If they are changing the climate records to make it look like the climate is getting warmer, how can it be said that everyone agrees that there has been no warming for 17 plus years ? ?

By cooling the past, massively.
The two satellite records have kept them a bit more honest in recent times. The land surface records were starting to diverge from the satellite records until the skeptics started pointing fingers. They HAD to stay in relatively good agreement with the satellite records to keep the truth hidden. Therefore they cooled the past instead.
