The US Is Tearing it Up In Brazil

Very impressive performance by the US so far. If they can keep up this pace for 90 minutes, they will win. Dempsey and Bradley are right on the verge.

    So close……..

USA and Germany both go through if they draw their final game.

  4. Andy Oz says:

Great game. USA was good and then C ronaldo with 30 seconds to go. USA must beat Germany now.

    • They don’t need to beat Germany, just lose by a smaller spread than Portugal did. Ghana will probably beat Portugal anyway, and put the US through.

      • Andy Oz says:

You’re right. Still, Jurgen Klinsman is going to want to beat his old national team. And the US could tip Germany out if they did beat them, which would be karma for the bloody Prima Donna’s. Spain, Germany and England not making the 16 would be excellent for world soccer.

If Ghana beats Portugal by 2 goals and the USA loses to Germany only by one goal. Germany and Ghana advance.

You gotta play the whole (in this case) 95 minutes. What a heartbreaker. Still they played ever so much better in this match than the Ghana match.

  7. Neil Dunn says:

In case you haven’t seen these shots in Brazil.
