Lost And Found

Six years ago, the US had three branches of government – legislative, judicial, and the teleprompter branch. By January of this year that had been reduced to a pen and a phone, and now our entire system of government consists of a pen.

Can someone please take the darned pen off of this fool? Tell him to go golfing for a few years.

  2. kbray in california says:

The bummer wants to ensure an uninterrupted source of ingredients for his pastries…

and to provide an open door for the drug cartels and gangs…

Not to mention the younger gang members coming in posing as children seeking amnesty…

    What an unbelievable incompetent mess.

Take a good look at MO’s face when he says that…that’s the ‘you are sleeping on the couch, in the doghouse, for a month’ look…I was waiting to see if her face would actually split open and laser beams shoot from her eyes.

      • Lynn Clark says:

Hannity had Ed Klein on his show last week talking about his new book about the Obamas. According to Klein, B and MO don’t sleep in the same bed. Klein claims that MO doesn’t really like BO. One bit of evidence he cites in support of this claim is the fact that they so often vacation separately. He doesn’t say that is why he doesn’t think she likes her husband. He claims to have gotten that information from one or more of many sources he interviewed for the book.

So is this now a conservative blog instead of a climate blog? (Maybe “now” isn’t the right word.)

“And where does Obama rank compared to other post-World War II presidents?

Second from the bottom. At 168 executive orders in five years, he has two more than George H.W. Bush. Above him, with 169, is Gerald Ford. Then, the numbers take a leap. JFK had 214 executive orders; George W. Bush had 291; Jimmy Carter had 320, and Lyndon Johnson had 325. Bill Clinton signed off on 364 during his eight years, and Ronald Reagan came in with 381. The winners in this game are are Dwight Eisenhower with 484, Harry S. Truman with 907, and the awful tyrant Franklin Roosevelt with a whopping 3,522.

    • Gail Combs says:

You mean FDR’s string puller ‘Colonel’ House author of “Philip Dru: Administrator: A Story of Tomorrow” The book’s hero, Philip Drew, leads the western U.S. in a civil war against the plutocratic East, and becomes the dictator of America. Dru as dictator imposes a series of reforms that resemble the Bull Moose (Progressive Party) platform of 1912. link

….The Progressive Party, believing that a free people should have the power from time to time to amend their fundamental law so as to adapt it progressively to the changing needs of the people, pledges itself to provide a more easy and expeditious method of amending the Federal Constitution.

….Up to the limit of the Constitution, and later by amendment of the Constitution, if found necessary, we advocate bringing under effective national jurisdiction those problems which have expanded beyond reach of the individual states.

It is as grotesque as it is intolerable that the several States should by unequal laws in matter of common concern become competing commercial agencies, barter the lives of their children, the health of their women and the safety and well-being of their working people for the profit of their financial interests.

The extreme insistence on States’ rights by the Democratic Party in the Baltimore platform demonstrates anew its inability to understand the world into which it has survived or to administer the affairs of a Union States which have in all essential respects become one people…..

Well that explain the twisting of the Commerce Clause and other parts of the Constitution beyond all recognition so that the Federal tyrants bureaucrats can regulate the mud puddle in your driveway and the tomato on your back porch.

Interesting how it is “The will of the people” until the people’s will goes counter to the propaganda shoveled down their throats and then the gloves come off and we get:

      The Bank bailouts
Most Voters Still Say Bailouts Were a Bad Idea

81% Favor Repealing or Changing Health Care Law

23% Rate Obamacare A Success; 62% Think GOP Repeal Likely

60% Think U.S. Not Aggressive Enough In Deporting Illegal Immigrants

31% Favor Increasing Legal Immigration If Border Is Secured
Note we were promised a GOOD border fence the LAST TIME we got amnesty and then Janet said we didn’t need the fence so Thank You Janet Napolitano for letting all those terrorists in.

So, it would be a very BAD thing that FDR signs executive order #3,042 to provide donuts to WH visitors on Saturdays, but it is OK that Obama signs executive order #114 to award amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens?

      Pretty fair comparison huh?

I find it astonishing when dipshits expose themselves by citing #’s of executive orders without any regard to the content of those orders. Make no mistake, I am sure that FDR signed some horrendous executive orders as well, that is why he is regarded as being a piece of shit, but it is no wonder dumbass LibProgs can’t even understand the data tampering that NASA does (and Steven has clearly illustrated for years) when they can’t understand that the CONTENT of the executive order IS the meaning the order. Content is EVERYTHING!

  5. Fred from Canuckistan. says:

Look, over there, a banana tree on the lawn of the big White House!

  6. Cheshirered says:

This is an unintended consequence of limiting presidents to two terms. Part way through their second term – usually just after they become a lame duck – they come over all ‘legacy’, triggering behaviour more suitable to Oregon’s psychiatric hospital than the White House.

  7. philjourdan says:

This threat is as empty as his promises. What is he going to do? Let everyone in? It is already happening. Empty the jails of every illegal that committed a crime? he has already done it. Not deport any illegals? He is not. So again, what is he going to do?

Just another lie by Obama. He has already used his pen to neuter border security and the Criminal justice system. I guess he can start arresting all citizens so the illegals can squat in their empty homes.

    • One thing for sure. Republicans will do nothing to protect the Constitution or the US.

      • Gail Combs says:

        You have got that right!

For once I would really like to have something to vote FOR in an election….

      • b says:

        Why would they?
They want the power Obama establishes for Jeb.
They also want the money to keep flowing to them.
There’s nothing in it for them personally to protect it.

      • squid2112 says:

Spot on Steven… As a clear example, we unfortunately have few saviors within the GOP ranks. Rand Paul is here in Tennessee to back Lamar Alexander, despite having an almost perfectly OPPOSITE voting record within the Senate. Despite being absolutely polar opposite principals in the greatest of key legislation that has transpired during Rand’s tenure, he is siding NOT with the Constitutionalism of Joe Carr, but siding with the establishment GOP.

My support for Rand Paul has been destroyed. Just another establishment GOP political hack. Unbelievable…

  8. Chip Bennett says:

Obama is a sock puppet. So if Valerie Jarrett tells Obama to use the pen, then Obama uses the pen.

  9. dscott says:

Not to worry, Barack Obama is the GOP’s stealth plan to destroy the Democrat Party and Liberalism. The more desperately reckless Obama acts advance the agenda, the more the country is turned off by Liberals and Democrats. Karl Rove told me so… /sarcasm/

  10. Jimmy Haigh says:

Do you think he’d get away with it if he was a rich white guy?
