Just Across The Street

I’m going to be watching from the Union Jack’s Pub at The Columbia Mall – right across the street from this beautiful sight.

If anyone lives around here and is in the mood for a pint or six, feel free to join me.

I’m easy to find. Look for the nerd watching football with a laptop.

I don’t get up that way but if you’re ever down in Arlington look me up

I can’t believe that an establishment calling itself a “pub” isn’t showing the footie tonight – its the whole point of a pub so that blokes can go and watch the game on a huge screen without having to explain the offside rule 🙂

Despite my own nationalistic instincts I’m hoping the Argies win !

Aww, damn. If I didn’t have to be at work tomorrow morning @ 7am, I’d be there!

I hope you post again when you’re going to patronize some place with decent beer (I need a good IPA). Would love to meet up.

  5. Tony, it would be great to have you visit my materials analysis laboratory, Anderson Materials Evaluation, in Columbia. It is only about 10 minutes away from the Columbia Mall. I am hoping that a proper nerd would find the spectroscopic, thermal, and microscopic analysis of materials of interest. We might also talk about climate issues. I am available most evenings and other times by arrangement.
