good, well actually not too good, I do not like really cold weather. But I sure love fall weather and the smell of everything that goes with it.

I like the way the low to mid 80’s now show up in blazing red. Based on that map, you’d think half the country was having a heat wave.

    • Shazaam says:

      That’s just temperature inflation.

Just like the “non-existent” food price inflation where the price stays the same and the packages get smaller and smaller.

Since the world isn’t warming, the color scale was shifted 8 degrees to make the available heat energy look much warmer than it is.

      • Gail Combs says:

When they start showing 32F as blazing dark red, you know we are in deep doo doo.

      • Belasarius says:

I think, I have read, that the output of these kind of mapping programs represent the highest values assigned to the warmest colors and the lowest temps the coolest colors. That would mean that you couldn’t really lay two different maps down side by side and compare them because the color representations wouldn’t match. Coincidence? You be the judge.

More melting ice BS right here. Especially note the last two paragraphs regarding Antarctic ice.

It is the AL GORE EFFECT!

The Communist’s People’s Climate March will take place in New York City on September 21st

AND the C40 & Siemens City Climate Leadership Awards, taking place during Climate Week NYC in September. ( 22 September. )

Time to hope and pray for a good unseasonable blizzard….

  6. Eliza says:

THis could be the end of AGW! First official possible audit of BOM! What JM and you are doing will be remembered forever! (and others WUWT, Jo nova ect)

  7. Eliza says:

Forgot link (Australian Today) to above

“Some of Australia’s long-term temperature records may contain faults introduced by the Bureau of Meteorology’s computer modelling, according to a widely published expert. David Stockwell said a full audit of the BoM national data set was needed after the bureau confirmed that statistical tests, rather than direct evidence, were the “primary” justification for making changes”.

  9. Andy DC says:

The evil Mann-made polar vortex is making an early September debut!

    • Dmh says:

The PDO is also slowly going down again,

This should increase the snowfall in the next NH winter- similarly to 2008, 10, 11 and 13- and end the drought of California.

  10. skeohane says:

Looks like western Colorado will warm ~4° the second week. I hope so, tomatoes are actually ripening this year.

Not sure if this belongs here but Dr Perry cited you here on his most excellent econ blog, Carpe Diem and comments are excellent with Warmunists taking a terrible beating when they dare show up. Good stuff.

    • Gail Combs says:

Boy are the Warmists getting trampled…. NICE

It is always interesting to see one of those debates because the AlGoreBots are so completely ill informed. It is like watching someone bring a limp noodle to a machine gun fight.

      • gregole says:

Yes, and what I find reassuring is that most of these guys are economics people, but are quite well-versed in the details of the AGW scam.
