Guardian Says That Freezing Air Melts Ice

The Guardian, Sunday 26 October 2014

Global warming has doubled risk of harsh winters in Eurasia, research finds

Severe winters are more likely over the next few decades due to climate change melting Arctic ice and sending freezing air south, according to new research

Global warming has doubled risk of harsh winters in Eurasia, research finds | Environment | The Guardian

The warm air is melting the Arctic, then heads south and is -40 in Minnesota. Makes sense if you are a progressive or a complete moron – but I repeat myself.

Not long ago they were saying this :

According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”.

“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” he said.

The IPCC said :

Warmer winters and fewer cold spells, because of climate change, will decrease cold-related mortality in many temperate countries.

The science is settled, and anyone who doesn’t believe these desperate liars posing as scientists – is a flat earther.

The interesting thing is that there are more and more skeptics appearing in the Guardian comments and they are not being moderated.

    • Keitho says:

I have noticed that too. It wasn’t that long ago that all of my comments were being removed and I was put on suspension. Nowadays it doesn’t happen. Even J Bowers has been unable to get me bumped off a thread and he used to do it all the time.

    • There may have been some changes after they got caught censoring Richard Tol. They will go back to censoring soon enough. They always do.

I don’t know Tony. I see the sceptic side gaining at Bloomberg and it makes me wonder if the media whores won’t abandon the sinking ship of CAGW like the true rats they are and fasten their flag to the winning side once it becomes blatantly obvious that the obsessive-compulsive alarmists are going down.

        • Ernest Bush says:

The leftists will soon find another horse to ride if they abandon this one. I’ve been wondering why they haven’t already jumped on Earth’s diminishing electromagnetic shield as a cause, but have decided they aren’t interested in dealing with anything that could be a real problem.

I haven’t commented there recently, but at summer I commented how IPCC chairman Pachauri lied for 38 years claiming he had two doctorates, when he only had one. And when this came out, the “thousands of top scientists” decided to do nothing about it.

I was surprised that I managed to start a small conversation about the matter (Although the conversation went straight to “What does it matter if he is a liar or not? He doesn’t write the reports and I trust the scientists that do!”). I was also surprised that the comment managed to stay visible for over 6 hours.

Of course it was deleted in the end.

Eurasia has always been at war with an overheated Arctic.

  3. daveandrews723 says:

Minnesotans have known about arctic air forever. I lived there back in the 70’s/80’s and remember many stretches in January when it got to 30-40 below overnight and the high for the day did not get above 0 (F). Minnesotans will not be getting rid of their snowmobile suits or Sorel boots any time soon, polar vortices (sp?) or not.

Reblogged this on Centinel2012 and commented:
The Guardian forgot to say that it was the dark energy that is doing this for the dark energy causes the universe to expand and that expansion cools thing down. The Climate Change believers think that CO2 promotes the creation of dark energy that is not just hurting the earth but also the entire universe.

  5. Ernest Bush says:

If a significant number of Britishers give this report any credence, then their population is even stupider than the current U.S. population in general.

  6. KTM says:

The alarmists are far down the rabbit hole on this. They accepted the premise that phenomenon A was caused by manmade CO2, so it becomes the new standard. Then the problem simply becomes linking phenomenon B to phenomenon A, not to CO2. Wash, rinse, and repeat, until you are standing on top of a house of cards, claiming that X, Y, and Z are all clearly caused by climate change in an unexpected, counterintuitive, and seemingly contradictory way.

  7. Send Al to the Pole says:

The scumbags will look with a straight face and lie thru their teeth, just like they always do. Their financial benefactors require it. Only the most vile criminal can be a progressive spokeshole. You need the moral turpitude of a starving hyena.
