  1. A second video emerges of MIT professor & Obamacare architect calling Americans “too stupid” to understand the Obamacare deception http://dailycaller.com/2014/11/11/yet-another-video-emerges-of-obamacare-architect-calling-americans-stupid-video/

Leaders of the scientific and political communities in America share these common traits with STALIN & HITLER: Selfishness, self-centeredness, pride and blinding arrogance !

  2. Excuse an uninformed Canadian, who is that guy in the video?

  3. Psalmon says:

If you are an academic, Scientific, Political, involved in lying, plagiarism, conspiracy, even if caught red handed…you are celebrity, wagons circle, prizes flow, they create “chairs” for you, the school gains prestige.

If you are a College Football Coach who compromises integrity, paying players, recruiting violations, concealing inappropriate behavior…you are out, the worst betrayal, they tear down statues of you, you leave the school in disgrace, the school is penalized, and with good reason.

After all, College Football is important.

Man, you should hear how they are trying to spin this!

  5. John Carter says:

That aside, maybe this should be really considered regarding what is REALLY driving skepticism, not is believed to drive skepticism, and see the strong pattern that emerges. Obama administration notwithstanding, but on the fundamentals of the issue.

I agree by the way on the idea that the current administration has not been open enough. I think that was the case with the last admin, and i think this admin has not been as well. But this includes national security claims where the gov (the executive in particular) has usurped a lot of power; some it it almost unchecked, which is the basic thing our forefathers created this country, and our form of gov, to prevent.

    Just sayin’

The statement by Gruber, ironically, was pretty stupid. But related, there has been a great deal of misinformation on that act itself, particular before the fact.

  6. John Carter says:

Speaking of lying, the name of this blog is also a lie.

Science is not misinformation: Of course, the problem is it’s not seen this way, as this blog perpetuates the idea that we are not changing the climate thorough the same process that led to the belief in the first place. Again, an exemplary set of examples that more than aptly show the remarkable pattern http://climatesolutionsandanalysis.wordpress.com/2014/11/11/why-climate-change-refutation-is-illogical-and-driven-by-something-else-not-science/

If a lie requires intent, the title of the this blog is not a lie. And that is where I disagree with most climate change advocates, who constantly assert that skeptics (such as here) “know” they are lying, and are only driven by money. I think this has only reinforced skeptics beliefs that they are not being listened to (on concerns over redress, perhaps not) but listening does not mean agreeing with misinformation, which is what that claim has also turned into.) And fails to communicate a basis for their conclusions, rather than just concluding all of the time.

Consider that link above. Its not going to change your mind. But just kick back, and carefully consider it. We may argue now, but later, us, or our kids, will all be dealing with this same issue.

    • You are an idiot

“but later, us, or our kids, will all be dealing with this same issue.”

No, it will be settled well before than, and my kids and grandkids will recognise you lot for the alarmist, credulous dupes that you are.

      In fact, they do already.

With glaciers, likely. John, you can beat it. See a doctor, tell him you got a bad case of that pond scum brain virus.

Also, beware the Polar Vortex. It is NOT warm, even though pond scum virus affected scientists will tell you that it’s caused by Global WARMing. They’re wrong. Snow is COLD.

  7. We are all doing it intuitively anyway but watch Gruber’s eyes, facial expression and body language as he speaks.

I see that same smug, self-satisfied demeanor several times a week, even from people I’ve never met who just assume I must be one of them and make a snide remark about those stupid Republicans, stupid conservatives or stupid Americans, only slightly varied by the occasion, a remark they don’t expect to be answered because it’s figuratively just a reassuring tap on my shoulder that means: “We are the smart ones, aren’t we? You and I are OK?”

The unbearable lightness of living in the People’s Republic.

    • omanuel says:

We are finally awakening to the People’s Republic of America that George Orwell described in the book he started writing in 1946, the same year . . .

The Sun’s internal composition was changed from iron (Fe) to hydrogen (H), and . . .

The force between neutrons that fragmented atoms of uranium and plutonium to destroy Hiroshima and Nagasaki was changed from repulsion to attraction . . .

Welcome, Americans, to Nineteen Eighty-Four !

  8. Mat Helm says:

The guy who dug up and put that video out there…

“It’s terrifying that the guy in his mom’s basement is finding his stuff, and nobody else is,” he says. “I really do find this disturbing.”

  9. philjourdan says:

Tangential to your topic, but I cannot drive this point home hard enough:

Even Snopes.com waded in, attempting to debunk the conservative theory that an Ivy League school was trying to hide a damaging gaffe that could hurt the legal case for the ACA.

Snopes – the William Connolley of myth busting.

    • omanuel says:

Ivy League professors have modified textbooks of basic nuclear physics, astronomy and cosmology since the end of WWII, . . .

And been rewarded with lucrative federal research grants, promotions, and even Nobel Prizes and Crafoord Prizes, . . .

For deceiving the public with “tricks” like promoting Carl von Weizsacker’s erroneous concept of “NUCLEAR Binding Energy” by leaving data points for the decay of the neutron and the tritium atom off of the plots of beta-decay energies.

“Consensus science is deceptive, politically-driven science that is used to manipulate and control the public.”

  10. Uninformed, emotional, and gullible are not the same as stupid, but the result is about the same.
