There Is Nothing New Under The Clouds

Seven years ago Robert Kennedy Junior blamed the demise of winter on Sarah Palin

In Virginia, the weather also has changed dramatically. Recently arrived residents in the northern suburbs, accustomed to today’s anemic winters, might find it astonishing to learn that there were once ski runs on Ballantrae Hill in McLean, with a rope tow and local ski club. Snow is so scarce today that most Virginia children probably don’t own a sled. But neighbors came to our home at Hickory Hill nearly every winter weekend to ride saucers and Flexible Flyers.

The IPCC said that mild winters will decrease heavy snowfalls

The Union of Concerned Scientists said winters in the Northeast are becoming warmer and less snowy

Now that fall/winter snowfall has reached record levels, the climate scoundrels say it is due to global warming and they predicted it all along.

Nice jobs, would be cool to have someone pull out of the lit. the number of predictions about less snowy winters as a function of time and the number of predictions about more snowy winters, so we can see this clear example of Flip-Flop.

Joe Bastardi requests that those blaming global warming should learn to read a weather chart.

      NTZ – 15 February 2015
Joe Bastardi Schools Dr. Michael Mann On How To Read A Weather Chart … Heavy Snow “Is Because It’s Cold””
…..Falsehood 1: It’s 11.5°C warmer than normal “off Cape Cod”

Joe calls Mann’s assertions a mistake, and shows that the area of warm sea surface water “off the coast of Cape Cod” is in fact way off the coast. At the 2:25 mark Joe shows how the waters along the eastern seaboard “are close to normal” and that a small patch of 3°C above normal water is some 1000 kilometers off the coast, and that a larger patch of 5°C above normal water is in fact 2000 kilometers off the coast (see following figure):…..

The funny thing is that they clearly told us to expect LESS snow and cold in our ‘warming’ world. Now they say we can expect more.

Thank you, Steven, for having and using your God-given abilities to expose and communicate the 1945 decision to

    1. Take total control of society [1]
    2. Hide the “Higher Power” [2]

    1. “UN’s Agenda 21”

    2. “Solar Energy”

I personally endorse many of the UN’s goals, but noble goals do NOT justify United Nations’ nor individual nation’s lies!

Robert F Kennedy Jr. should be standing with that group protesting coal.

Did someone mention snowfalls? Don’t forget Messrs Onians and Viner – never forget Messrs Onians and Viner:

  7. emsnews says:

Yes, we did have 2 years with much less snow in the last 40 years.

Just like California had a record drought that was all 3 years long. How terrifying. 🙂

    • AndyG55 says:

Just like BOM trying to pass off the drought in Australia through 2007/8 as a “big” drought.

Sorry BOM, notice you use / rather than – because it was less than 2 years.

      Federation Drought (capitalised) was from 1895 – 1903.. that’s 8 or 9 years !!!

  8. SMS says:

Have you ever seen Robert Kennedy Jr. in action? That man is no fool, he is an idiot.

  9. Lawrence 13 says:

Nasa with help from Brian Williams will soon be readjusting the pasts snow extents upwards to homogenise snowflakes

When I was a kid and lived in Indiana people were happy to have a mild winter.

    • rah says:

I’m not a kid but was born and raised and now live in Indiana and am quite happy when we have a mild or short winter. The greatest benefit of a hard long winter I can see is that it does help keep the bugs down for the following spring and summer. On the downside I noticed that our lightning bugs, the real arachnoidal sign of deep summer weather, were way down last year.
