Met a cameramen who worked on top gear, he said the stresses were enormous and they were at each others throats all the time. You only have to look at their faces on the away trips in jungles etx to know they are shattered. He said the producers are idiots.
In my brief foray into the film industry I asked a guy who’d been in the business for a very long time… he started as a child actor in “Grand Hotel” back in 1932 and spent his career writing scripts, music, musical direction and directing. I asked him once how many intelligent producers he’d worked with in the 60+ years he’d been in the business. He said he could think of 5 or 6… the rest were idiots.
After what Clarkson et al. did to Ben Collins (the original Stig) I have little sympathy for them.
I am a Clarkson fan. Bring him back.

“A source claimed that the alleged assault came after a dispute over catering: “They came to the end of filming after a long day and Jeremy discovered that no food had been laid on.”
“He just saw red and hit the assistant producer, who he blamed for not having organised the food. He snapped.”
Clarkson isn’t denying it. The suspension is for at least one show and possibly the last 3 f the season.
Negotiations to bring him back for another 3 seasons have also been suspended.
