Large Increase In Snow And Ice Since 2006

The usual criminals in the press corps are claiming that Arctic ice is rapidly disappearing, and at a record low extent.

Satellite imagery shows that there is a lot more ice and snow than there was in 2006. (Note that the eye altitude has changed since 2006, but I aligned the land edges as closely as possible.)

2006 was the year with the highest summer minimum from the past decade, and ice levels are well above 2006.

The press has manged to spin a decadal increase in ice extent into a “record low.”  This is how journalists working for the $29 billion climate mafia operate. Arctic sea ice has been stable for three years, and there is no trend over the past decade.
