In 2011, leading Texas A&M climate expert Andrew Dessler said Texas would be hot and dry for the rest of the century. Right after he made that forecast, Texas temperatures plummeted and continued the century long downward trend.
This year has been one of Texas 10 coldest years so far.
What more is to be expected of a rodent? 🙂
Separated at birth?
I wonder if anyone has called Dessler to follow up on his prediction..
Lets give him a call…
Houston got 5 inches of that dry weather over the weekend. Flood retention ponds were full.
I drove through about a 100 miles of hard rain between Dallas and Texarkana on I-30 Tuesday afternoon. Highest temp I remember in Texas during my trip down to Eagle Pass was 78 deg. and that just for a short time. Most of the time during the day it was in the low 70s Monday and the 50’s and 60s on Tuesday. Then Wednesday a driving buddy of mine saw a few flurries along I-94 in Michigan. Another driving buddy of mine woke up to 29 deg. F in Bristol, NH on Wed. morning.
Joe Bastardi nailed it again!
