Understanding How To Think Like A Progressive

If you are a progressive, you ignore the 55 black on black on black murders in Baltimore so far this year, and then burn the Korean community down over a killing by a white cop – who actually turned out to be black.

After destroying the business community and demoralizing the police force – then you run the baseball team out of town to play their home games in Florida.

If you follow the logic, you are ready to be chairperson of the Democratic National Committee.

It really is a fvcked up cult isn’t it? lol.

The problem is that it is not just innocent bumbling, there are very sinister political agendas being put into play by puppet-masters and the lamestream media. The brainwashed rabble cannot open their eyes and see that they are being used.

Society is extremely sick now, from top to bottom. We need an honest way to unify waring factions.

Since the best available measurements and observations by physical scientists seem compatible with religious teachings of a benevolent Higher Power that created and sustains every atom, life and world in the solar system, and since environmentalism seems to be a “New Age” religion rather than a physical science,

Is the answer a natural merger of science and spirituality?

    • myrightpenguin says:

There are some interconnected things: spirituality & stable families under traditional marriage, and getting people off the welfare state & government. As long as there are masses (bordering on a majority of the population now) in the government dependency trap they will defend the collective no matter what for the sake of their handouts and no matter how corrupt the government is, as we have seen in places such as Detroit and Chicago.

A correction will not happen under this president. We need an open up of federal lands to oil and gas exploitation so as to ensure blue collar workers can have decent well paying well rewarding jobs (not just in energy exploitation but the knock-on benefits of cheap abundant energy). There is a chicken and egg situation here, higher economic growth where families have more money in their pockets enables more stable households.

I wouldn’t look at shaping science necessarily; science should go wherever it leads based on the normal scientific method. Unfortunately the normal scientific method has been corrupted wherever big government has joined hands with big business to shaft the average person on the street and small/medium size businesses.

Yes, so why would Peter rob Paul in the first place.

That is a quote from George Bernard Shaw.

If you want to know why the Prog/Fabians are using that method, look at what else George Bernard Shaw has said.

          George Bernard Shaw video

I have six URLs with these quotes. All but one has been removed.

……Here are some of his disgusting statements:

“We should find ourselves committed to killing a great many people whom we now leave living, and to leave living a great many people whom we at present kill. We should have to get rid of all ideas about capital punishment …

A part of eugenic politics would finally land us in an extensive use of the lethal chamber. A great many people would have to be put out of existence simply because it wastes other people’s time to look after them.”

Source: George Bernard Shaw, Lecture to the Eugenics Education Society, Reported in The Daily Express, March 4, 1910.

“The moment we face it frankly we are driven to the conclusion that the community has a right to put a price on the right to live in it … If people are fit to live, let them live under decent human conditions. If they are not fit to live, kill them in a decent human way. Is it any wonder that some of us are driven to prescribe the lethal chamber as the solution for the hard cases which are at present made the excuse for dragging all the other cases down to their level, and the only solution that will create a sense of full social responsibility in modern populations?”

Source: George Bernard Shaw, Prefaces (London: Constable and Co., 1934), p. 296.

“Under Socialism, you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live, you would have to live well.”

George Bernard Shaw: The Intelligent Woman’s Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, 1928, pg. 470)

If you think Shaw made a mistake in what he said:

….Bernard Shaw was the editor, and those who have worked with him know that he does not take lightly his editorial duties. He corrects his own writings elaborately and repeatedly, and he does as much for everything which comes into his care. The high literary level maintained by the Fabian tracts is largely the result of constant scrutiny and amendment, chiefly by Sidney Webb and Bernard Shaw, although the tract so corrected may be published as the work of some other member.

Although therefore all the authors of “Fabian Essays” were competent, and some of them practised writers, it may be assumed that every phrase was considered, and every word weighed, by the editor before the book went to press…..

  8. SMS says:

The black urban community desperately wants to blame someone other than themselves for their position in life. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the democratic party are willing to throw cops under the bus to establish any kind of scape goat to take blame away from where it really belongs; the democratic party and progressive legislation that has led to the breakdown in the family unit.

When you look at the strength of the family unit found in Asian vs Caucasian vs Hispanic vs Black communities, you find a strong link to education and success. Progressives will try to tell you otherwise, but their lips are moving so we know they’re lying.

  9. gator69 says:

The 2013 FBI Uniform Crime Report, a compilation of annual crime statistics, also shows similar data: 83 percent of white victims were killed by white offenders; 90 percent of black victims were killed by black offenders; 14 percent of white victims were killed by black offenders; and 7.6 percent of black victims were killed by white offenders.

White Americans are the racial majority, with a 77.7% share of the U.S. population. Hispanic and Latino Americans amount to 17.1% of the population, making up the largest minority. African Americans are the largest racial minority, amounting to 13.2% of the population.

Wow! So 14% of whites are killed by blacks who only make up 13.2% of the population, and only 7.6% of blacks are killed by whites who make up a whopping 77.7% of the U.S. population.

A “white” homicide victim is over twice as likely to be killed by a black than a black homicide victim is to be killed by a “white.”
Blacks are also disproportionately represented among cop killers. In 2013, blacks made up 42 percent of all cop killers whose race was known.

Odd demographic that we have protesting the wrong issues again, and again.

A woman has six kids, no father in the home. Her child is out throwing rocks at police. She beats him in front of the camera and the media asks “is she mom of the year?”

Maybe the mom of the year should be the one who doesn’t raise kids out of wedlock, has children who are respectful of police, and disciplines her child in a way that doesn’t promote the kind of violence that is ripping the community apart.

It is like giving a 350 lb person a fitness award because they lose 3lbs. While it is a start in the right direction, it is a long way from optimal.

    • gator69 says:

Exactly! If this is the best mom in Baltimore, we need to build a wall around the story.

    • dave g says:

At least she cares enough to try.

      • Gail Combs says:

She has six kids growing up with rotten male role models and no one to help her raise them. She probably came from a similar background.

So I agree at least she is trying.

        • gator69 says:

Trying and failing. Likely she was also raised in an environment absent a good role model. What kind of mom uses that kind of language and violence on their own kids? All my parents had to do was shame me, that was worse than any beating they could give.

The mom’s I used to see do this were actually more concerned about having the police show up at their door. I worked in E St Louis for years, and witnessed first hand what goes on in communities like that.

Just two days ago, one of the “local” news channels in the city showed a street interview with a black woman from a similar neighborhood. The woman talked a good talk for about 30 seconds, saying that the blacks need to stop the street violence and quit blaming the cops. Then her peers, who had been standing around, attacked her for saying that. The woman then requested that her earlier statement be erased, and when the news crew refused, she harrassed them and called them a whole lot of bleeps. To their credit, the news crew aired the entire incident, and said they would not be returning to that area without bodyguards.

        • David A says:

It is likely that the cost to society for supporting those kids is very high. Also it is likely that having these children was a financially expedient decision.

        • B says:

In neighborhoods like that the more intelligent people need to have two different distinct personalities. One is for the outside world. The other is for the neighborhood. If the people in the neighborhood see the outside world personality they will go on the offensive against the person. If the outside world sees the neighborhood personality that will negatively impact one’s success in life. It’s a tightrope to walk. The news crew should have understood this.

  12. gator69 says:

A two-year-old case involving the shooting death of an unarmed 18-year-old white man by a black police officer is gaining attention on social media in the wake of this week’s protests and rioting in Ferguson, Missouri.

Gilbert Collar, a white, unarmed 18-year-old under the influence of drugs was shot and killed Oct. 6, 2012, by Officer Trevis Austin, who is black, in Mobile, Alabama. Despite public pressure for an indictment, a Mobile County grand jury refused to bring charges against Officer Austin, concluding that the officer acted in self-defense.

The circumstances mirror those of the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown, a black unarmed 18-year-old under the influence of drugs by Officer Darren Wilson, who is white, in Ferguson.

Perhaps the driver Cop is a “White-African” as George Zimmerman was a “White Hispanic”…

    • Gail Combs says:

George Zimmerman was a “White Hispanic” with a black

Latin Times: Gladys Zimmerman, Mother Of George Zimmerman, Says Her Family Is ‘Proudly Afro-Peruvian,’ But Do His Black Roots Matter In Trayvon Martin Case?

…..Gladys Zimmerman said on Univision. “In my family we proudly come from the Afro-Peruvian race. My sons know their uncles, they know their aunts, they know their roots and my roots are not white, my roots are Afro-Peruvian. So they’ve been educated, not just at home as a family, at school. My sons don’t look at color.”……

Interesting that the rest of the article is all about calling Gladys a LIAR without actually coming out and saying it.

George Zimmerman’s great grandfather and Gladys Zimmerman grand dad.

“The baby is thought to be Zimmerman’s mother, and the young woman his grandmother”

      • Gail Combs says:

George Zimmerman was a “White Hispanic” with a black ====> George Zimmerman was a “White Hispanic” with a black great grand dad.

I bet Obummer did not count on George being a Hispanic with a black greatgrand dad with photos to prove it.

Zimmerman was picked by Obummer’s handlers because of his German last name and the fact he was not a cop and never went to trial for ‘murdering’ a black ‘youngster’

It kind of backfired but the spinmeisters in the media did their very best to limit the damage. as that Latin Times article shows.

I once admired Morgan Freeman, but that was before he started opening his mouth off screen…

So why are so many people dying in police custody? And why are they all black? And why are all the police killing them white? What is that?

  15. Billyjack says:

The reality is that the police are required to enforce thousands of crimes against the state. Any “illegal” activity that does not have a victim by definition is a crime against the state. A large part of these “crimes” are revenue producers for the government, so the police have become tax collectors rather than protect and serve. Because of the vast amount of crimes against the state everyone is a criminal.

  16. nickreality65 says:

You engage in behavior that attracts the police and when they show up you give them a bunch of grief. Guess what, bad things are likely to happen.

Riot-Plagued Baltimore Is a Catastrophe Entirely of the Democratic Party’s Own Making

“St. Louis has not had a Republican mayor since the 1940s, and in its most recent elections for the board of aldermen there was no Republican in the majority of the contests; the city is overwhelmingly Democratic, effectively a single-party political monopoly from its schools to its police department. Baltimore has seen two Republicans sit in the mayor’s office since the 1920s — and none since the 1960s. Like St. Louis, it is effectively a single-party political monopoly from its schools to its police department. Philadelphia has not elected a Republican mayor since 1948. The last Republican to be elected mayor of Detroit was congratulated on his victory by President Eisenhower. Atlanta, a city so corrupt that its public schools are organized as a criminal conspiracy against its children, last had a Republican mayor in the 19th century. Its municipal elections are officially nonpartisan, but the last Republican to run in Atlanta’s 13th congressional district did not manage to secure even 30 percent of the vote; Atlanta is effectively a single-party political monopoly from its schools to its police department.”

  18. Warren D. Walker says:

The progressive’s axiom of blaming Bush needs to be updated.

  19. Luke of the D says:

So lets get all the facts straight here:

Freddie Gray, who has a substantial criminal record (20 drug related arrests), was arrested for fleeing from police after acting suspicious. He was beaten by the arresting officers (perhaps resisting, perhaps not). He was placed inside a paddy-waggon (without being strapped in) and apparently suffered catastrophic injuries and was thus taken to a hospital where he remained in a coma for a week before dying. And that is pretty much all we know about that.

Riots occur throughout Baltimore and New York and Denver and Chicago and Minneapolis and elsewhere. Numerous cops were injured and cop cars burned. Vast numbers of private businesses and automobiles were destroyed.

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announces charges will be filed agains the 6 police officers involved in the case:

    1) Officer Caesar Goodson, Jr. = second degree depraved heart murder, involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault, manslaughter by vehicle, manslaughter by vehicle, and misconduct in office.
    2) Officer William Porter = Involuntary manslaughter, second degree assault, and misconduct in office.
    3) Lt. Brian Rice = Involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second degree assault, manslaughter by vehicle, two counts of misconduct in office, and false imprisonment.
    4) Officer Edward Nero = Two counts of second degree assault, manslaughter by vehicle, two counts of misconduct in office, and false imprisonment.
    5) Officer Garrett Miller = Two counts of second degree assault, two counts of misconduct in office, and false imprisonment.
    6) Sgt. Alicia White = Involuntary manslaughter, second degree assault, and misconduct.

Three of the officers are black = Caesar Goodson, William Porter, and Alicia White.

That is pretty much all the “facts” about this case I can find… did I miss anything?

Now, I am no lawyer and obviously I nor pretty much anyone else has seen all the facts and I will not profess to knowing everything about this case nor about the law, but there are some serious problems here with this whole thing. Here are the problematic points I don’t understand:

    1) Why did the riots occur at all? Clearly, with three of the officers being black, there is nothing racist about this matter (or can a black person be racist against another black person?). So why were they rioting?
    2) How can all of the officers be charged with assault and manslaughter and all the other stuff if all that happened was man was arrested (perhaps resisting, perhaps not) and suffered severe injuries in transport and later died. I’m sorry but that does not scream murder to me… it sounds like negligence at worst. What am I missing?
    3) Marilyn Mosby, at least to me, acted very racially motivated when she announced the charges agains the accused officers. Additionally, there appear to be links between Ms. Mosby and Feddie Gray’s family via donations she received from the attorney. Shouldn’t she recuse herself from the case?

  20. John Smith says:

‘every cop is a criminal and all the sinners saints’

  21. LCC says:

Whites are not convicted = riots.
Blacks are not convicted = shrug.

Whites are convicted = riots + marches.
Blacks are convicted = shrugs + marches.

  22. B says:

The media has to do what it takes to distract people from the fact that the problem is government and a police state. The media also has to work to divide people along various lines so they can be more easily ruled. The people don’t want to admit the reality of what we live under so they just believe it all happens to those other people over there because of racism. And there you have it. Why what gets press and attention and why what doesn’t. Why darker skinned people are portrayed as white. People need a narrative to stick to, illusions to believe in, because the reality is too scary and goes against everything they’ve been told since they were four years old.

  23. gator69 says:

File it under the “It Couldn’t Happen to a Nicer Guy” heading…

George Soros is often called the “Godfather of the Left” for supporting a worldwide network of progressive causes with over $550 million in donations. But the world’s 27th wealthiest person–according to Forbes–with a net worth of about $30 billion has allegedly used tax deferral to prevent paying any taxes on $13.3 billion profit. Now, according to an Irish regulatory filing by Soros, he will soon be enjoying the shared sacrifice of paying a 50 percent tax that will wipeout a quarter of his net worth.

Congress closed a lucrative loophole in 2008 used by U.S. hedge fund managers to avoid paying income taxes for fees and profits. Congress gave these corporate elites until 2017 to pay accumulated taxes on all pre-2009 deferred income.

Warren Buffett in August 2011 called on the U.S. government to “stop coddling the super-rich.” Buffett pointed out he pays less of his income in taxes than his secretary does. He added that the rich should pay higher taxes for the sake of “shared sacrifice,” and suggested that most of his wealthy friends “wouldn’t mind being told to pay more.”

When the liberal website Salon launched the Patriotic Billionaire Challenge to ask the 400 richest Americans if they approved of “The Buffett Rule” to raise taxes, only Georges Soros and 6 of the other uber-wealthy responded positively.

Buffett and Soros could voluntarily pay more taxes, it’s called a gift to reduce the public debt. But instead they hide their money behind loopholes and deductions, and live a life of lies.

  24. I still support all 6 of those police officers.
