    Do you mean Memorial Day?

  2. Centinel2012 says:

Reblogged this on Centinel2012 and commented:
Just turn the Chart upside down and Obama is right?

  3. R. Shearer says:

It appears that natural variability is alive and well and swamps the trend, whichever direction it is.

  4. omanuel says:

AGW is only the fourth in a series of Major Lies invented after nations (UN) and national academies of science (NAS) were united on 24 Oct 1945 into an Orwellian Ministry of Consensus Science Truths to forbid public knowledge of Neutron Repulsion – the major source of energy in cores of heavy atom, some planets, ordinary stars, galaxies and the universe:

    1. SSM- standard solar model
    2. SNM- standard nuclear model
    3. BBC- Big Bang cosmology model
    4. AGW- anthropologic global warming

Meanwhile in Fort Simpson the temperature is rising. The average high there is 17.6°C on May 24th. The record high is 28.0°C in 1994 and the forecast for later today is 30°C:

Weather. It’s going to get even warmer next week there according to the forecasts.

    • Hugh K says:

Not to worry, the record high in all of the NWT was recorded in Fort Smith at 39.4 degrees C way back in 1941. But as the data in the link you provided for Fort Simpson only goes back to 1964, who knows?
Regardless, try to stay calm, the Coast Guard is focused like a laser on this threat.

    • Stewart Pid says:

Jim thinks summer never happened before in the Canadian north … he obviously hasn’t spent much time up there 😉

    • Billy Liar says:

Unfortunately Jim, it’s only managed 27.6°C so far today. No record yet.

    • AndyG55 says:

“and the forecast for later today is 30°C:”

Darn, sounds like really nice weather, send it down here if you don’t want it its like 10ºC down here :-(.

Will you be able to drag out that surfboard and enjoy the brief warming?

Or are you too scared, like you are to admit that most of the Holocene has been warmer than now and that the Arctic sea ice is most probably still much more abundant than it has been for most of the last 10,000 years.
You still haven’t found that little bit of honesty, have you, Jimmy the con.

    • David A says:

Jim, that is an meaningless comment about one day. Do you have a 105 year chart showing increasing mean T?

      • Jim Hunt says:

“A bit chilly” in Fort Collins is more meaningful than a record high in Fort Simpson? Surely you jest David?

        • rah says:

Tony showed a trend over time. You answered with a single days high temp. So the only jester here is you. The problem is that you don’t know it!

  6. Don says:

When it cools it is weather, when it warms it is a global crisis.

  7. dmacleo says:

personally getting tired of the high 30’s low 40’s (F) every morning here in maine.
going to fire up my 97 crown vic with broken vacuum tree, will cause sensors to force rich run and pump more co and co2 into air to help I think.
    or not.

  8. Slywolfe says:

Who here thinks Obama cares about national security?
