It has been four years since climate criminal Joe Romm announced the beginning of the Southwest permanent drought

The southwest, including California are having their wettest summer on record.

Over the past year, precipitation in the southwest has been far above normal.

Los Alamos, New Mexico has received rain on 20 days this month, and is forecast to get rain the rest of the month and into August. It is the greenest anyone has ever seen.

Criminals like Joe Romm are well funded, because they are pushing the big lie which the White House wants to hear.

    Southwest Permanent Drought makes about as much sense as an Ice Free Arctic Summer;
it’s just another failed CC prediction… the natural variability has its own agenda.

As a climatology student, in between the global cooling scare and the great global warming swindle, I wrote a paper on Desertification. It was all the rage, in climatology circles. Of course back then, in order to do research one had to go to this thing called a “library” and check out “books”, as Al Gore had not yet invented the internet.

Every source I could find, almost exclusively university and government research, said that the deserts would continue expanding at an ever faster rate, and that if we did not spend the world’s treasure on mitigation immediately, we would all die in a sea of sand. So that was basically the conclusion of my paper, and boy did I learn a lesson. I should have known better because I had already spent over 5 years as a geology student by then. BTW, the paper was well received by my climatology professor.

I wonder why Joey has not learned the same lesson? I guess stupid pays really well these days.

A lot different than the Dust Bowl of the 1930’s, when CO2 was supposedly at safe levels.

Thank you for having the courage to confront criminal climatologists. Thanks in large part to your efforts, Earth’s cooling will confirm that national academies of science were united into a worldwide “Orwellian Ministry of Consensus Science (UN)Truths” when nations were united (UN) on 24 Oct 1945.

Fortunately for humanity, Nobel Laureate Max Planck recognized and pointed out in 1944 that a “conscious and intelligent Mind” directs the force that creates and sustains atoms, lives and planets in the solar system, . . .

the same force that endowed humans with inalienable rights to self-governance in order to insure “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

That is our assurance that CRIMINAL CLIMATOLOGISTS & BIG BROTHER ARE NOW GOING DOWN.

  5. Endless ranting about the drought in LA being proof of global warming, since LA is the whole globe. But, now we get predictable silence when the rains come and LA gets flooded out and gets the rainiest July on record. You would think there would be cheering, people dancing in the rain. But the global warming goon squad is like “shhh, don’t tell anybody, we’ll lose our government grants”:

The same crowd will be screaming that it is indicative of climate change when CA next gets flooded and mudslides deposit some hillside cottages a few hundred feet lower in elevation. It’s whatever meme gets the headlines and the cargo cult mentality of the media aimed at driving less and less subscribers to their websites.

  7. Bill McDonald says:

There was a little book named The ARID Lands by John Wesley Powell written over a 100 years ago that deals with all of this. Major Powell explored the Colorado River and is the subject of the book Beyond the 100th Meridian by Wallace Stegner. Major Powell generally predicted the current situation; his book has average temperatures and rainfalls from the mid 1800s, and they are largely the same temperatures and rainfalls as are now experienced. How can that be?

  8. Psalmon says:

Oh you have to love droughts. They never end anymore…
