A Spectacular Hockey Stick Of Fraud With NASA Surface Temperatures Since 2001

In 2001, NASA reported 0.5C warming from 1880 to 2000, with an error bar of less than 0.2C.

Now they show 1.3C warming during that same time interval, an increase of 0.8C, and nearly tripling the amount of warming.  The changes they have made are 400% of the size of their 2001 error bars – a smoking gun of fraud.

This fraud was accomplished via a mind-boggling hockey stick of data tampering.

But it is worse than it seems. NASA had already done huge amounts of data tampering by 2001, erasing the 1940 spike.

It would be good to remove at least part of the 1940s blip, but we are still left with “why the blip”.

Extra bonus : NCAR then takes NASA’s fraudulent surface data, and tacks it on Michael Mann’s fraudulent hockey stick.
