  1. Rosco says:

In Australia we had a decade long drought during which we had the same type of morons (e.g. Tim Flannery of purple sky fame) advising even greater morons – politicians – about the permanent drought.

Our politicians swallowed the bullshit and wasted billions on desalination plants and other water infrastructure. No new dams were built.

The work to construct a lot of the “essential” water infrastructure commenced just in time to be seriously adversely affected by the floods of 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Now they have to run the plants and various pumps etc. – not because they are needed as there is absolutely no water shortage – but because you have to use machinery to keep it functional.

Climate “experts” have been solely responsible for wasting billions of dollars and caused the downfall of several state governments and our federal government that listened to them and drove their governments into serious debt to finance the useless and unnecessary infra-structure.

Oppositions rode into government on scare campaigns about debt and financial mismanagement caused by incumbent governments listening to climate alarmists.

  2. Andy DC says:

Droughts result from weather patterns, not from stooges that have a vested interested in promoting them.
