Obama Caught Lying, Yet Again

Last year, Obama claimed he made an emissions reduction agreement with China.

Yesterday, at Obama’s fake climate meeting, it became clear that Obama doesn’t have any agreement with China

The US-led GLACIER environmental conference in Anchorage ended with a joint declaration calling for more international action to tackle climate change. China, India and Russia abstained from signing the document.

China, India and Russia combined produce about three-fourths of the world’s CO2. Anything Obama does serves only to hurt the US economy, and has essentially no impact on global CO2 emissions.

    I dont believe I typed that…

  2. trotter387 says:

All Politicians are caught out by the truth on climate change because their is such a difficult line to tread – economics is more important than people and the climate and anything else because where the money is there Power is. A government is not going to face off against the power of economic leadership. It is the war they can’t win. So unfortunately they think of today and are done with tomorrow because they already destroyed it yesterday.

It made sense to me when I said the sentence out loud – sorry.

  3. Marsh says:

Has anyone noticed Obama’s nose ; it appears to be growing a few millimetres each year…

How much fuel does Airforce One use?

    • Dmh says:

“The results do not indicate a measurable year to year effect of annual anthropogenic emissions on the annual rate of CO2 accumulation in the atmosphere..”
Then, what is causing the increase in CO2 levels?

  5. inMAGICn says:

You know, I’m unhappily inured to lefty language abortions. But “climate pollution?” What is that supposed to represent?

    • And I am so used to it that I didn’t even notice the idiocy of the expression. They don’t even try to bullshit with skill anymore. They know they can do anything and their followers will click their heels and hail the leader.

    • Snowleopard says:

I think it means “feel VERY guilty for trying to have a life”, and it suggests “In atonement for your guilt, grant absolute power to the elite”

  6. tomB says:

Glacier he’s standing “close” to has been retreating since 1800’s yet media doesn’t bother to question that fact

  7. omanuel says:

Now that the 2009 Climategate emails have finally led us to the unmitigated arrogant selfishness (hubris) of world leaders and the scientists they fund,

The $64,000 question is just this: “Can society be returned to sanity (contact with REALITY: Every atom, life and planet in the solar system is sustained by NEUTRON REPULSION in the Sun’s pulsar core – an EMPIRICAL FACT world leaders and government scientists hid from the public for 70 years) without undergoing a crash landing of the world’s entire economic and social order?

  8. Henry P says:

truth is that if the lie were to be exposed, many pension funds and green technologies would go bust overnight. Just follow the money….
    Obama /Al Gore know this.

  9. Andy DC says:

We have a Republican congress. Why don’t they just pass resolutions of non support or even legislation to revoke any and all of Obama’s nonsense? Also hold hearings about the massive fraud and disinformation related to so-called climate change. You could be a leading witness!

    • Snowleopard says:

Probably because that “side” has also been bought, (by the same folks who own the media) to play the losing opposition.

    • Jason Calley says:

Hey Andy! “We have a Republican congress. Why don’t they just pass resolutions of non support or even legislation to revoke any and all of Obama’s nonsense?”

The reason why they don’t do it, is because we have a Republican congress. Sure, sure… I know that they PRETEND to be conservatives, but that is only while campaigning.

      • darrylb says:

As of today, the Senate just got the necessary 34 votes necessary stop the Senate from overriding Obama’s Veto of a bill to not accept the IRAN deal.

Feeling more helpless all the time.
As to the title of this thread, it is sad, very sad that the arrogance of Obama is so great that he knows he can lie as he pleases and the MSM will not challenge him.

–and the MSM is so inept so as to not be able to challenge the most fundamental aspects of his CACC drool.

Maybe some will challenge him when we have a nuclear winter!

      • darrylb says:

        Steven G
I expect they didn’t out of complete ignorance. Noting that there were a few democrats with the integrity to say they opposed it, thus putting their political future in possible peril, I would have thought they would have simply treated it has a treaty had they understood that to be the case——–Or is it too late?

    Henry says
we collectively need to query our [carbon] taxes in court
by taking a good lawyer and bringing our collective knowledge/information from measurements

    which contradict AGW

(minimum temperatures dropping instead of increasing)

    • Latitude says:

and all this time I thought global warming was supposed to make night time (min) temps warmer

      • Henry P says:

        You are correct
        That is the theory
        of AGW

but it is just not happening…

        which disproves the theory

you cannot get a 100% correlation on a sample/graph like that unless you assume that everything happens by natural laws

which proves [to me] that God is in control.

  11. DD More says:

From a different Fact Sheet on the China deal. No that is not actually what China agreed to.

From the FACT SHEET: U.S.-China Joint Announcement on Climate Change and Clean Energy Cooperation
At the same time, President Xi Jinping of China announced targets to peak CO2 emissions around 2030, with the intention to try to peak early, and to increase the non-fossil fuel share of all energy to around 20 percent by 2030.

In political spin talk, China will grow CO2 at the rate they want till 2030, then will increase the mix of non-fossil fuel (think nuclear power, thorium reactors & hydro growth of 3X the size of the Gorges Dam). Their planned growth doesn’t need what the West considers ‘renewable s’. If you actually look at China Power future growth plan, Obama gave away the store to get exactly what China was planning to do anyway.

Even if they don’t change or make the targets, what is the penalty? Remember, as some have said, “Communists always lie.”

How hard will China have to go to get to the vaunted 20% non-fossil fuel share.

China has already built the world’s biggest hydropower facility at the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River, with 22.5 gigawatts (GW) of capacity. The third biggest, the Xiluodu project in Sichuan province, will be completed this year.
China said in its five-year plan for 2011-2015 that it would raise total capacity from 220 GW to 290 GW. Capacity had already reached 280 GW by the end of last year, up 12.3 percent from 2012, according to official data.
“Looking at the major projects in the pipeline including those on the Yarlong, Dadu and Jinsha (rivers), which could complete construction by 2015, China would meet and exceed its target … by as much as 5-10 GW,” said Grace Mang, China Program Director with advocacy group International Rivers.
Hydro accounted for about 22 percent of China’s total power capacity by the end of last year, with thermal power reaching 862 GW or nearly 70 percent.

They are already 2 percent over now.
