Due to very cold air and northerly winds in the Beaufort Sea, Arctic sea ice growth since the record early minimum has also been a record for the date. Look for none of the fraudsters at US government funded agencies to report this information.

The ice edge has pushed 5o miles closer to Alaska over the past three days.

O-buoy 10 has been pushed south into the “open” water, and it is surprising to me how quickly that open water is becoming slush-covered. The north wind pushing things south is bitter cold.
