NASA US Data Tampering Has Reversed A Post-1940 Cooling Trend

In 1999, NASA’s top climatologists reported that the US was cooling, as greenhouse gases increased.

Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought. The drought of 1999 covered a smaller area than the 1988 drought, when the Mississippi almost dried up. And 1988 was a temporary inconvenience as compared with repeated droughts during the 1930s “Dust Bowl” that caused an exodus from the prairies, as chronicled in Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath.

in the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country

That didn’t suit the agenda, so they later tampered with the data to make the cooling disappear.

The news media listens to Heidi and they don’t listen to you, nor are they about to any time soon. Your audience seems to consist of me and maybe a dozen other people. OK, not everyone posts here.

There was a period recently where people on the other side were complaining that their message wasn’t getting out. That seems to have stopped. I’m guessing that the high command put out the word to stop that and get back on aiming for the goal with the addition of a scorched earth policy to be unleashed on the opposition. For example they canned France’s weather guy a few weeks ago.

How long before they resort to violence?

10 days ago NASA announce climate change was impacting food production:

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/nasa-satellites-reveal-something-startling-203100169.html?bcmt=comments-postbox

“This is actual data — this is not a model,” Stofan said. This wouldn’t be the first time human-caused climate change has affected our ability to grow food, Stofan pointed out. The Dust Bowl of the 1930s, which had a devastating effect on agriculture in the US and Canada, can be traced to poor farming practices and severe drought brought on by climate change.”

Today 10/28, Yahoo reports: Who wants my corn? U.S. farmers grapple with another super crop
    http://news.yahoo.com/wants-corn-us-farmers-grapple-another-super-crop-125252578.html

“We’re out of storage,” said Richard Guse, a Minnesota farmer who also co-owns a grain elevator. “Our next best option is to find a place to sell it, so you get that harvest pressure.”

They are storing food in the open, risking damage. So much food we can’t store it all.

But fear not! From the 10/19 article: “NASA has the tools to help farmers on Earth cope with climate change and become more resilient.” Yeah! Can mass starvation be far behind?

    • Stewart Pid says:

So now the dust bowl of the 1930’s is climate change and not weather?? Farming practices was a contributing factor to the extent of the damage but the drought was real and the main problem and just natural weather.

    • elcrustace says:

The dust bowl caused by climate change, in 1934. Yeah… I had to click on the link to be sure that was really written. Hotter, more CO2, more rains due to more water vapor… All good for farming.

It’s good to see us farmers able to manage their production, by storing some food, and reducing their future prods. In France farmers would be in the streets, blocking roads and asking the government to find a solution, such as fixed minimum prices or subventions.

The future looks dark, what will happen when the average temperature will fall and so the crops yield ? Billion of humans beings starving, fighting for food… But i’m sure that ours governements wont be part of the starving ones.

Breaking! Wow… NOAA refuses to provide Congress with e-mails on study claiming climate pause never happened. Can they do this surely they can be prosecuted for refusing to comply with a legal order!! If not the USA is finite!

  4. darrylb says:

For me, this whole fiasco more and more brings home certain qualities of human nature.

I understand to a greater degree how we could have totally believed in witchcraft and eugenics,
enforced the Spanish Inquisition and more.
Repeat something often enough, add to it extreme emotion, and it becomes fact, regardless of what the facts really are.

Here, facts are presented, but for far too many, the wagons have been circled. The media has done a terrible disservice in keeping and strengthening the meme.of unusual
    climate change.

I doubt that anyone who has read and contributes here doubts that the climate has and will always continue to change

  5. rebelronin says:

the propaganda leading up to Paris is astonishing
    and to me appears coordinated
    who is behind it?
there must be a PR firm somewhere sending out these almost daily XXXX EVER press releases?
    smells of private sector origin
government is usually not this good

    • Yes, it is called the Council on Foreign Relations and its European equivalents … with much assistance from the National Academy of Sciences and other learned societies … the Socialist International and its affiliated national parties … United Russia, the ruling party of that country … and, quite frankly, the Roman Catholic institution and certain semi-secret societies.

But the CFR is a “point man” because they occupy the nexus between the prevailing powers and the mainstream media. They are the “PR firm” you’re looking for.

“Agency won’t give GOP internal docs on climate research”
By Timothy Cama – 10/28/15 12:47 PM EDT

The federal government’s chief climate research agency is refusing to give House Republicans the detailed information they want on a controversial study on climate change.

Citing confidentiality concerns and the integrity of the scientific process, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said it won’t give Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) the research documents he subpoenaed.
