Greenland’s Capital Cooling 24 Degrees Per Century Since 2003

The fraudsters at the New York Times claim that Greenland is heating rapidly. In fact, temperatures there are plummeting.

Temperatures at Nuuk, Greenland have been below normal for the past five years. This year is the coldest since the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in the early 1990’s. Since 2003, temperatures there have been falling at a rate of 24 degrees C per century.

Vikings used to farm near Nuuk. But now it is much too cold there for farming.

  1. For anyone who’s interested, I have some notes based partly on this Greenland post, which I’ve posted at Tony’s website:

and for which feedback is invited. Thank you.

Have you looked at the DMI data? They claim that as a whole Greenland has been warming since the 60s.

I just spent a good amount of time this morning delving into their pdf files at the DMi site unsuccessfully looking for a single temperature graph covering the instrumental record showing the mean temperature history for Greenland. The best I could find were separate graphs for western and eastern Greenland showing the individual stations.

The alarmists thought they had a live one in 2010. But as it turned out, that year was just an outlier among an otherwise neutral to slightly bearish long term trend.
