  1. Ah HA! It WAS the capitalists!

They also saved our forests, horses, and city streets.

Unfortunatley, some Whales didn’t make it.

Coal making during the Carboniferous and Permian depleted atmospheric CO2 to dangerously low levels. Thanks to the development of White Rot Fungi, which could break down lignin and return CO2 to the atmosphere, we are here today to write blog comments about it. 😉

  5. This article makes it sound like petroleum was discovered around 1850. It’s bunk. Petroleum has been known since ancient times. They just never used it for anything, except in the 17th century the French used it to cure melancholy by wiping it on patients’ heads.

“So what do you do to distract the american public.”

Actually it is a typical weapon used in propaganda and con-gamemanship.

Misdirection is a form of deception in which the attention of an audience is focused on one thing in order to distract its attention from another. Magicians use distraction techniques to draw the audience’s attention away from whichever hand is engaged in sleight of hand. Our leaders are nowhere near as benign.

      H. L. Menchen identified this years ago.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

So Muslims are attacking us to help Obama?

      • Jason Calley says:

Hey Gail! I used to be very sceptical about “our own government is killing us!” stories. I just could not bring myself to think that any of our politicians were so crooked that they would stoop to murder. Fraud, embezzlement, bribery — sure, all that and more, but actually killing people for strictly political purposes? Unthinkable! Not so unthinkable any more. I have mentioned Operation Northwoods to people and the most common response is, “yeah, but Kennedy turned that down!” Yes, but how many have we not heard about that got approved? How many like Operation Gladio where the US set up terrorist attacks in Italy?

      • Robertv says:

The question is ‘why would they attack us?’. At least in Europe they will take over power in the next 30 years just by having more kids and immigration. So the way they are acting is bringing this easy takeover in danger.

They are even thinking in accelerating this takeover.

The Elite/Rulers never really believe the religion they push on the masses. To the Elite, Islam looks like a great way of reducing the peasants back to serfdom, the ultimate goal

Why ever the women go along with this completely mystifies me but they do.

An Islamic student group at a London university confronted a human rights activist during a speech this week and accused her of violating their “safe space.”

Maryam Namazie, a former Muslim and Communist from Iran, had her presentation on blasphemy and apostasy interrupted momentarily Monday by members of Goldsmiths University’s “Islamic Society.”

As noted by EAG News writer Victor Skinner, the university’s feminist group came out against the female speaker in favor of the Islamic group as well.

“We support them in condemning the actions of the Atheist, Secularist and Humanist Society and agree that hosting known islamophobes (sic) at our university creates a climate of hatred,” the Feminists wrote.

Interestingly, around the middle of the 19th century, the shale oil extraction industry mads Scotland the biggest petroleum exporter on Earth.
