The ice is melting rapidly at -31C.
Greenland’s surface has only gained 500 billion tons of ice this winter. Hopefully President Sanders will be able to turn this all around, by punishing the poor with high energy prices and low energy availability.

I’m a bit jealous. I stayed in Barcelona for 3 months doing some backpacking in my younger days. I stayed near Parque de Ciutadella. Loved the Costa Brava, temperate winter weather (was there Jan-Mar), food, coffee, outdoor cafes, Las Ramblas (minus the thieves), La Sagrada Familia, smell of bread wafting down the narrow cobblestone streets, surrounding countryside, it’s all intoxicating. Someday I will have to make it back there. Vale.

In Barcelona we have only two seasons. The one you can swim in the sea and the one it’s to cold to swim in the sea. Of Course there are people who swim all year round.

Robert, in Colorado we have only two seasons. In the one you can ride a bike and in the other we get too much of the thing of the past to ride a bike. But we also have people who ride a bike all year around.

RobertV and CW here in the Midwest some drivers say we have only two seasons. Winter and Construction. But that is one of the nice things about being an over the road driver. I get to see the seasons in lots of other places in the US other than my own region. Though now I only rarely go very far west of the Mississippi and frequently during the colder months get sent towards where ever old man winter is venting his wrath at a particular time.

Sure Imagine what the changes the drivers that do a run from Toronto, ON to Laredo, TX will experience. It could easily be a change of 90-100 deg. F between the two places during the 53 hours or so it takes a solo driver or the 34 hours it takes a team to make the drive.
When I drove team years ago we often did runs from coast to coast such as Chester, PA to Long Beach, CA or say from Seattle, WA to Miami, FL. We preferred the runs east to west and west to east runs to the north to south and south to north runs because they were generally longer and we liked driving in the west. IMO the best were a combination running diagonally across the country because they generally got one off the beaten path off the interstates more. It was only on Holiday weekends like the 4th of July that we wouldn’t get over 7,000 mi on the truck in a week of teaming doing those kinds of runs and 8,000 mi was not uncommon.
Driver changes timed as much as possible with fuel stops. Fuel, do a Pre trip or enroute inspection topping off any other fluids that needed it, grab a subway and restock the cooler with cold drinks and refill the coffee thermos, make a trip to the bathroom, coordinate log books with the co-driver, and off we went. Many a time I sat behind the wheel for a full 11 hour driving shift without stopping putting about 700 mi behind me before the co-driver took over. Now we’re required to take a 1/2 hour break between the 3rd and 8th hour of our shift so no more straight 11 hour driving shifts without stopping.
Yes the irony is : Warmists are April’s fools every day ; but there is no funny side to it..!

We only added 1/2 a Trillion tons of ice? Son of a Bitch — we cut the Scotch drinkers first. It is every drinker for himself I tell you.
Yes you Floridians import almost everything but sea shells, oranges, gators, snakes, sea food, beef, and some paper. This trucker knows how hard it can be to get a back haul after delivering in Florida. Getting in is easy. Getting out is another thing altogether.
