Hansen To Finally Speak Out?

http://www.redorbit.com/

After running the largest and longest running propaganda campaign in the history of the western world, alarmists are concerned that they haven’t gotten their message out.

I’m looking forward to hearing what Dr. Hansen thinks about the subject. To date, he has gone out of his way to avoid the press and remain politically neutral.

Vowing to band together? Been there, done that, know all about it from ClimateGate.

    Yawn.

  2. Russell C says:

Right. Sure. Very convincing, except Mr Sheridan of AFP (Agence France-Presse) is regurgitating an LA Times article that has already been debunked regarding just how big the response was supposed to be or if there was any planned response at all. http://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2010/11/08/la-times-caught-making-stuff-up-again/

Nevertheless, for comparison we have the (former) NOAA’s Jerry Mahlman saying back in 2008, “Journalists are realizing that climate scientists don’t have political agendas. We’re militantly careful not to let our ideologies get in the way. The reporters see this and their respect for us has really jumped up. I get more and more calls from writers and reporters that are digging for the facts and trying to get the science straight so they can communicate it on to other people…” http://www.earthzine.org/2008/01/21/straight-talk-on-climate-communication-and-earth-observation-a-conversation-with-dr-jerry-mahlman/

That’s the same Mahlman (who moved on to the National Center for Atmospheric Research) who was a keynote speaker http://www.cleanair-coolplanet.org/action/tiworkshop_call_04.php with John Passacantando and Ross Gelbspan back in 2004, both of whom are essentially the epicenter of the accusation that skeptic scientists are corrupt: http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/07/smearing_global_warming_skepti.html
