Are the geniuses at NASA unaware that 2010 was an El Nino year, and that 2011 is when La Nina shows up in the temperature record? Why are these people being paid to do science which would flunk them out of most middle schools?

Also when they say it was the warmest “on record” they LIE for the Ice Core Data Records show much warmer periods. Why is NASA permitted to LIE by distorting the facts like that?
99% of climate science reported by the press is either clueless or dishonest.
Yeah, no doubt about that with regard to the press… With NASA you’d expect they would have a higher standard about being specific with words.
It really bothers me that they can “distort” like that and get away with it without consequences.
The gutting of the highest standards of science is part of what is so shocking about the alleged science of climate science.
In reply to pwl: Note that the “record” for NASA only goes back to 1979.
Something similar happened to me when I was in high school. There was a plethora of school records being broken all through my high school years. It wasn’t because we were particularly good athletes, it was because the school was only 4 years old when I started, and it was a lot easier to break 4 year old records than it would have been breaking 40 year old records.
Well, I sure wish it would trump it harder!

It is starting to look like an extended LA Nina.
High Solar activity never gets mentioned as a factor when the Earth is warming, but as soon as it starts to cool then low solar activity suddenly becomes significant.
How does that work, exactly?

Can’t be La Nina or Solar Minimum because Fossil Fuels trump them and they are not going to stop this year so what will it be?
