The climate scamsters have largely given up on global warming, because the globe isn’t warming any more. The new strategy is to blame all weather events on “climate change.” That concept doesn’t actually make any sense, but Pavlov’s dogs are trained to drool and will do so when the bell rings.
The key to pulling off this scam is to convince people that bad weather never happened in the past, and the key to pulling that off is to erase the records of bad weather from the past. NOAA pretends that that people didn’t know how to count before 1950, and didn’t know how to read thermometers before 2000. NSIDC pretends that there were no satellites before 1979. Data from before 1970 is largely ignored by government climate scientists.
For the greater good of the team, it is also critically important to rewrite the temperature records from the past, which GISS and NOAA have been doing furiously for the past 12 years.
It comes back to bite them. Unlike a buy now or regret it late sales pitch, people always have time to rethink with AGW. Once they reason or hear why these scare tactics are bogus, people are very reluctant to trust again. It’s why scepticism is growing very fast in the UK
History will be rewritten to conform to, and support the agenda. All types of history.
AGENDA: The ruling/elite class discovered many years ago that brute force, and Communism were not the only tools avaliable to achieve total global control. The environmental/green initiative fit hand in glove as a means to augment the traditional methods of global subjugation. It has become the main thrust of our Masters. Poorly mentally organized people have been persuaded to believe in the non existent AGW alarm, not realizing they are helping create their own slavery.

Lazy – if you really cared about man made global warming you would be leading the charge against Richard Branson’s latest venture to provide joy rides into space for the super rich instead of bothering Steve. Don’t you just love the idea of the polluting playboy billionaire Branson adding to his already massive amounts of CO2 emissions and vapor trails in the Earth’s atmosphere all while he supports policies that increase energy and food poverty in poor countries by making energy and food more expensive? Imagine how really cool it must be for him to fly around the world in a private jumbo-jet to lecture idiots about cutting CO2 and pretending to be a climate hawk while spewing hundreds of thousands of tons of CO2 into Earth’s atmosphere. What is he doing to get eco-loons to love him that the oil companies aren’t? Maybe to could fire up one or two of you brain cells to figure it out and write about it.
Let me know if you plan to lead a protest to boycott Branson’s evil corporations. I’ll get the word out and then maybe more than 1 or 2 people will visit your blog.

The precursor for the solid component of Branson’s hybrid rocket motor is Ethanol. He can grow it. Renewable, you know. The oxidizer is nitrous oxide, laughing gas. No net carbon footprint.
Is he growing the ethanol iside the rocket motor? If not, it has a CO2 footprint Ed. Swing and a miss strike 1!
Ethanol is only renewable contingent on water being available and as you know water is becoming a scarce commodity. This raises another concern as we will be wasting water on fuel for super rich joy riding into space rather than using it to grow more food for the starving masses. Swing and a miss strike 2!
