Does he actually mean ice free, or does he mean open as in able to get ships around it ? Either way the reported temp changes must have got colder as obviously this has not happened, or he was over estimating.

Since Aug 26 2300h the temperature has peaked above 1C for less than an hour and the September Tmean is -7.1C. You might be wrong Steve, the poles may be moving together soon as the Arctic gets colder from the changing tides. How will the warmists explain both poles cooling simultaneously? They will blame it on reflective roofing in Phoenix where they started painting their roofs white to reduce the UHI effect!
