1975 was the last (and only) time the US had a spring this cold. At the time, people were smart enough to recognize that it was due to global cooling.
But that was before Hansen erased the post 1940 cooling, and before he started blaming recent cooling on global warming.
In 1974, America was smart enough to get rid of the crook in the White House. In 2013, we just re-elected a much worse one. If Americans want to behave like the stupidest people on the planet, we can fully expect to reap the rewards.
Other than shrill howling from the true believers, people don’t seem to be buying the coldness-proves-warming meme, nor has the pivot from global warming to climate change and then to, what, extreme weather, worked, despite its easy, credulous acceptance by the moronic pro-government “fourth estate”, a watchdog of the government in Mencken’s time (or so we are told) now little more than a propaganda arm of the democratic party.
This is textbook Thomas Kuhn. The theory begins to fail. Next the auxiliary hypotheses are invoked to explain the failure. (Give that a few years to run its course). Then the crisis. Then the paradigm shift.
Dogmas dumbing down America, and the world … dogmas, not just Democrats … and raising up old, failed tribal beliefs…like Islam. Promulgators of already clearly failed dogmas, in denial of their failure, are pushing war upon the world.
Nixon was a republican. Clinton and Obama are both democrats. MSM loves one, and not the other, covers for one, and not the other. End of history lesson.
I have no love for republicans, either, most of whom have abandoned their principles and compete with democrats to see who can build out the government and shred the Constitution and the Bill of Rights the fastest, with the exception of a few such as the much vilified James Inhofe, who has done so much to keep the arm of oppression, cloaked this time in a green mantle, from pushing us under and holding us there.
That being said, I agree with Phil — the MSM loves them some democrats.
