Interestingly, ENSO models are predicting we will be entering La Nina conditions again over the coming months, which should continue to cool things down. Then we may be back to ENSO neutral some time in Feb or March 2014. Probably not what Hansen or Schmidt was hoping for.

I know one thing: if the Arctic sea ice extent starts to recover then it’s all over for the Warmists. Their last canary would have sung. Some will hang on but most will realise they were just a bunch of suckers or that their jig has finally been exposed.
The conversation will switch to the ‘long term trend’. Although we don’t have any long term trend data… but that has never stopped them.

Has anyone visited RC recently? It’s become very lame. There is an article that declares that all the missing warming has ended up (mysteriously) in the deep ocean. Of course, they didn’t predict that, nor can they explain how that works physically. And then there is a cartoon of a boxer (representing “climate models”) in a ring with no opponent. The missing opponent being ‘sceptics’. Or in other words, sceptics are bad because they have no models even if the models are useless. It’s like arguing that leeches are a preferred medical treatment if the only alternative is no medical treatment… OK…. 😉

Don’t any of these morons (RC) realise that there are at least 3300 Argo floats out spread across most of the oceans, that with patience you can read the temperature down to at least 2000 metres on any that have surfaced recently. Average temperatures at depth is ~ < 1 deg C., so it would be mysterious where the missing warming has hidden itself.
It always amazes me how these people (I won't say scientists) can subvert the laws of physics at will.
