Mass Balance On The Greenland Ice Sheet

The Greenland ice sheet averages about one metre of snowfall per year.

Last year, NASA got hysterical over a 150 year event – where a few snowflakes on the surface got rounded edges from 2C temperatures for a couple of hours.

Then these geniuses try to claim that the ice sheet is losing mass.

    actually it’s funnier than that….
    On the one hand..they are claiming that the Greenland ice sheet is sooo important…
    …and on the other Julienne says that any Arctic sea ice that’s less than that is insignificant and would be considered “ice free”
