An Older Version Of The Hockey Stick

This version is from the National Academy of Sciences, before self-awarded Nobel Prize Mikey straightened them out that the world was heating out of control, rather than cooling out of control.

In 1975, people were too stupid to know the difference between cold and heat.

    Inconvenient history.

And those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat the mistakes…..

  4. Robertv says:

Could become the New Version Of The Hockey Stick again.

  5. Eric Simpson says:

That’s what I was saying yesterday, that it very well could have been hotter in the 1930s. Certainly in the US it was. Here we have the NAS saying that the Northern Hemisphere was much hotter then, and with the temps still dropping in 1976. There was a long way to go temperature wise from 1976 to get back to highs of 1936. I don’t think we’ve made it. The hockey stick and global warming is bs.

Meanwhile the big arctic storm does not look able to smash up the ice like last summer’s gale. It has ingested below freezing air, and is nearly on top of the pole. Likely more snow than rain, if not all snow, whirling around and around the pole. See update at:

Just had 3 chord of firewood delivered. I’m not taking any chances. I remember those 1970’s winters. Brutal.

  7. shazaam says:

Folks in 1975 knew what was cold and what was warm. However, they were completely inept at faking temperature data to hide the decline.

  9. Andy DC says:

Are you trying to say that Skittles caused the Dust Bowl and Great Depression? They must be more evil than even CO2!

  10. Norman says:

    Caleb: we’ve nailed them
http://ocean.dmi.dk/arctic/meant80n.uk.php Its below freezing the drop is pretty impressive. I Think we may have reached minimum or close

  11. Andy Oz says:

Post modern alarmist agenda. Introduce a Skittles Tax to save the world!!!
Seriously though, I see nothing wrong with that chart.
That’s how we play hockey down under. Upside down!

  12. Wild Bill says:

I thought Skittles had become a racist thing….like hoodies. In Seattle the word “citizen” is racist as is the phrase “brown bag lunch.”
