Only one minor problem. Sea level isn’t rising at Tuvalu.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Isn’t it interesting that the official tide gauge record starts only years after they were worried about the sea rising.
I’ll wager another one had already been there, and has been removed — or at least, delisted.

From Dr Morner…
“So we made a very nice program for Maldive television, but it was forbidden by the government (!) because they thought that they would lose money. They accuse the West for putting out carbon dioxide, and therefore we have to pay for our damage and the flooding. So they wanted the flooding scenario to go on.
This tree [see photo], which I showed in the documentary, is interesting. This is a prison island, and when people left the island, from the ‘50s, it was a marker for them, when they saw this tree alone out there, they said, “Ah, freedom!” … I knew that this tree was in that terrible position already in the 1950s. So the slightest rise, and it would have been gone. I used it in my writings and for television.
You know what happened? There came an Australian sea- level team, which was for the IPCC and against me. Then the students pulled down the tree by hand! They destroyed the evidence. What kind of people are those? And we came to launch this film “Doomsday Called Off,” right after that, and the tree was still green. And I heard from the locals that they had seen the people who had pulled it down. So I put it up again, by hand, and made my TV program….
They call themselves scientists, and they’re destroying evidence!”

Well, it’s sure as hell rising HERE! We’re about to drown in ‘exceptional drought!’ We’ve had about 3-4″ in the last 6 hours here in w. Tx. About 10-15″ in Austin. Would need a jet ski to get from here to town. Probly ought to invite algore here to speak. I’m sure that’d dry up the joint.
I got this from a friend in Texas:
“We got over 4 inches of rain last nite & more is supposed to come in the next couple of days. I’m hoping what we have in the garden will grow now. However, they had to cancel the last day of ACL (Austin City Limits) due to the 12″ of rain in that area of Austin. So, I’m sure there will be some unhappy people but they do get 1/3 of their ticket price back.”
Shock News: Tuvaluans confirm CAGW is a monstrous scam!!
The population of Tuvalu has doubled since 1980.

“Overpopulation has thus become a major concern for the
government, and one of the reasons why emigration is encouraged.” p. 7

Reblogged this on CACA and commented:
South Pacific Islands are not sinking. Claims they are due to global warming driven sea level rise are opportunistic.
However, alarmists never cared for empirical data, especially when it debunks their spurious climate lies.

They need more El Niños! Look at the drop in 1998 (and 2010).
I wonder why there was apparently a large fall in sea level in 1998, when (according to UOC), global sea levels were rising and according to HadSST3, there was a large increase in global sea surface temperature.
Look up Vaiaku, Tuvalu, on Google Earth. Ask yourself, “What are these people doing here?”
You can do the same with Male, Maldives.
These people have picked a stupid place to live. If I drive less, and lower my thermostat, it will still be a stupid place to live. I feel no sympathy for them at all.
Hopefully everyone on Tuvalu won’t stand on the same side of the island and tip it over.
Tuvalu SOS: we’re sinking!! stop sending life jackets–send money!
Look at June 1997-1999 — the sea was receeding at an alarming rate — Tuvalu was rising up out of the sea! — over 300 mm!
Precisely, most of any increase in sea level since then is due to that fall!
And land/ocean temperatures were higher then.
I encourage everyone to Google Maps Tuvalu … look at an aerial view … what most people picture as an “island” barely applies to Tuvalu. It is a coral atoll barely poking out of the ocean – and has always been that.
If the UN has even a shred of integrity they will answer “yes, Tuvalu is doomed because of seal level rise” and promptly tell all the world banking institutions that they must not lend any more money to Tuvalu to build airports, hotels, resorts, etc., but only to fund population control programs (birth control, abortion, euthanasia), to get the population down to “sustainable” levels so they can be evacuated as climate refugees sometime before 2100 when the entire island will disappear (h/t Jim Hansen).
(/sarc for the irony-impaired).

Chris de Freitas has been telling us Tuvalu is not sinking due to climate change for quite a long time, and in a major national Daily newspaper
