Ummmm, it is far worse than this table depicts. This table compares “non-group” private rates with the ACA rates. Those that are getting thrown out of their “group” insurance and dumped into the exchanges are seeing a much much greater increase than this table shows.
And sadly, it appears to by design, to force single payer. And after the government shut-down cave, do you think more than 10 republicans will actually oppose it?
Obama said his plan is for single payer. Obamacare is designed to bankrupt the private healthcare system.
I predict Obama will ask Congress for a bailout of health ins companies early next year after fewer than expected young healthy people sign up. He and Democrats will demonize Republicans for not caring about the old and sick.

Ehh… If vitamin D testing becomes a standard on yearly basis, there would be a lot less money to go around in medical industry. Big pharma would bankrupt, etc.

Ironically, Dr. DeLuca from University of Wisconsin has over 100 patents for vitamin D knockoff including Vitamin D2 that is often prescribed by doctors to treat vitamin D deficiency. OTC vitamin D3 is much better and cheaper though.
I requested a Vitamin D blood panel about 3 months ago after finding out it was never checked. 30-50 nmol/L is considered ‘acceptable’ (50 being ideal). Mine was 21 !!
I take 4,000 units of D3 a day, and now many of my symptoms are going away.
Magnesium is also very important. The standard serum test does not give the true picture however. I don’t recall the best test, but not many doctors are familiar with it.
The RDA charts are a joke.
I discovered a new study on vitamin D deficiency about 7 years ago and it changed my life. I buy my fix at Walmart, and it is by far the best and cheapest supplement I take. I have shared this info with all my friends, family, and coworkers and seen it work virtual miracles. Everyone should look into this.
Today I had to take a detour off the E-way through Saginaw, Michigan and ended up in the rough part of town, hoping my car didn’t break down (forgot my guns too). To my amazement, in the middle of the area with boarded up houses, there was one house with a large banner that looked like the Democrat campaign headquarters. From what I could read (it was getting dark), it said:

…….then there was a lighted sign on the lawn saying it was an ACA center to sign up for Obamacare!!!
I’ll be going through the area again soon and will be sure to take pictures and post. It was purely political in nature.

After ACA (I get to keep my plan)- $778/month premium, with a larger deductible. Bronze plan.
Platinum plans ratchet this up to almost $1200/month.
