The most sophisticated satellite for measuring sea level was the EU’s Envisat. It was delivering non-scary data, so they killed off the satellite and altered the pre-existing data to nearly triple the rate of sea level rise.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Agreed, except for the “so they killed off” bit. I doubt that anyone would go to the trouble of killing off an entire $3 billion satellite with nine major instruments when it’s so much easier to just muck up the data from the one instrument that’s not giving you the readings you want.
Hey Dave, you may be right, but look at from the point of view of a sociopath. The $3 billion cost is not coming out of his pocket, hence the cost is irrelevant. And if the data is threatening to derail a $100 billion gravy train…
I guess all we can really say is that the satellite failed and the embarrassing data was changed to something more conducive to further grants.
We don’t need satellites. Tide gauges are fine. Unless you think continents are accelerating or decelerating in their rise and fall. I pay zero attention to satellite altimeter data. Give me a tide gauge any day.
Yeah. And go to the beach and see for yourself. For decades running there has been NO sea level rise. None. The “data” is bullsh|t.

This disinformation offensive on the part of alarmists and the lap dog media has gotten totally out of hand because Mother Nature refuses to cooperate. It is also quite frightening. If we are being lied to so blatantly and obviously about something as simple as tides and weather, what other BS are we being fed?
Experts are very busy now changing their opinions about solar energy, while diplomatically claiming that they already knew the truth almost 40 years ago.
