My wife came up with a good one. “Religious leaders have been telling true believers they have to make sacrifices (animals, plants, even their own children) to avoid climate catastrophe for thousands of years. Intelligence is the modern sacrificial offering at the altar of the religion of anthropogenic global warming.”
The earliest stuff I could find on “global warming” was in the late 1800s. When I researched Global Warming, Challenged, it became immediately plain that it was junk.
