Our most accurate global temperatures are from satellites, and they show little or no warming. Temperatures are far below climate model forecasts

I have misplaced my link, but I saw a graph of “global temperatures” done with a y-axis scale in whole degrees once. A normal scale in other words. The temps were a flat line across. Anyone have a link to that?

Lucy Skywalker did an incredible job with that site. It is a very good go to site for those starting out in looking at Climate sciente. I am glad it is still up and running. It was down for a while. Haven’t heard from Lucy in a while either.

Even if sea ice has increased, the alarmists are certain that the interior of Greenland and Antarctica are melting like crazy. I am sure they are, considering that it seldom gets near freezing in those places (sarc).

If all these cooling signs continue there could well be a crisis.
Here in Upstate, NY we just had 16 inches of snow on Wednesday. Thank God for AGW otherwise we would have had 8 feet of it!
Yeah, but what about the polar bears?
They haven’t moved to NY or Chicago yet, so….
Those Polar Bears won’t show up in Chicago or NYC because they are:
A – Afraid of being disarmed by the government and then shot by the gangs.
B – Of Northern European or Slavic descent therefore Immigration and Customs Enforcement denies them entry at the Northern border. They are working on learning Spanish so that they can try the Southern border instead in an attempt to not only gain entry but to get EBT cards, Obamaphones, Obamacare and free chauffeur service to the sanctuary city of their choice, a government job and membership in a public sector union to increase the amount of taxes going towards forced dues. (Those bears who scream “Allah Akbar” and charge the border will be given all of the above as well as tuition to the flying school of their choice.)
C – They still have stable families and want good educational choices in schooling for their cubs so are not welcome in any blue state neighborhood, public school or public housing project. They are also afraid of their cubs being hooked on Ritalin and starved in Queen Michelle’s school “lunch” program.
D – The DoJ has proclaimed them to be race terrorists because they are white.
E – They are white and Obama now has Arctic capable drones… population numbers declining as we speak.
Ya mean those cute white furry vicious predators with the darling little black noses that consider humans a source of protein? If AlGore had a son, he would look like a PB, or at least dress like one.

So that I can overcome warmist objections, why is satellite data most accurate? What other measurement mechanisms are there for global temp…particularly the ones that warmists rely on?
Also, while snow/ice extant has increased globally and at the poles, what about depth? Is that something the warmists argue? Thanks, just a regular guy who sells software, has a family and hates the deception.
Satellite data has much better areal coverage, is not affected by UHI and only requires adjustments to one well defined location, rather than thousands of poorly understood locations.
Satellite data also measures ocean temps, and has full coverage, which they barely have any coverage of without them.
…and it measures different levels of the atmosphere, as opposed to just the surface.
…and the baseline does not change, against itself at least.
Tony, I wish you could present these findings as lectures or documentaries on YouTube. I think you would garner a wider audience. Perhaps even educate the masses of Muppets…

Since they graft satellite sea level data onto tide gauge data at 1993 to make a fake sea level acceleration, why can’t we graft RSS satellite data only land thermometer data and make a fake cooling? It would be just as valid.
Government climatologists are only agreeable with certain types of graft.
From the Global Mean RSS TLT chart: RSS observed temperatures lower than all CMIP models. No explanation yet – what is forcing the cooling? Perhaps the modeled “heat” was never there to begin with?
If the alarmists were honest, they would use the Tornado and ACE records as evidence of THEIR claims. Both require a sharp temperature difference to increase, so the fact that tornadoes are down as are Atlantic Hurricanes would support their cause.
But then that would also destroy the C part of the whole hoax.

By my calculation we are about .5 degrees C below what the GCM’s claim the temperature should be based on the ~400 ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere!
