Papers Past — Auckland Star — 14 December 1940 — WARMER ARCTIC

The Arctic warmed 10 degrees from 1900 to 1950, and both poles were rapidly melting. This completely wrecks the scientists story about Mann-made Arctic warming, so they have simply tried to cover it up.

It would be good to remove at least part of the 1940s blip, but we are still left with “why the blip”.

It is time to stop calling climate scientists scientists, because they cannot predict sh!t,never were able to do so and never will.
Even an african shamen with zero knowledge could predict better better by throwing chicken-bones on a carpet than those guys.
But it is not a real surprise as those guys aren’t even able to predict weather for ten days accurately despite climate for 1000 years.

    • philjourdan says:

Scientists do not need to predict. But they have to do science, which they are not. Failure is as much a part of science as is success. Unfortunately these religious folks forgot that part, so they lie to deny their failure.

      • True, no stand-alone predictions for their own sake are necessary but a scientist should be able to predict an outcome according to his hypothesis.

        • SxyxS says:

If a scientists prediction(theory) fails he must admitt his failure choose a new theory/model.
These guys are just cargo cult scientists who back up their lies with new lies and excuses-therefore they are no scientists but snake oil salesmen.
(it reminds me a little bit of those Einstein worshipers who pull new dimension and materia and energy(dark matter etc) out of their asses just to please their god-substitute Einstein and keep his shining glory instead of considering that some small or bigger things may be wrong with his theories.

        • philjourdan says:

AND – reject it when it does not come about. But in the early stages, when gathering the data, you have to allow the data to determine the direction. NOT a computer prediction.

They are still in the early stages, yet they are trying to jump that stage and go straight to prediction without any data to support a model.

      • Jimbo says:

Here is Professor Peter Wadhams – an Arctic sea ice ‘expert’. Over the years he made a prediction of an ‘ice-free’ Arctic ocean no later than 2016. This year he changed his prediction to 2020 without explaining why he changed his prediction. He used the word ‘predict’ on several media quotes.

    • Gail Combs says:

You will love this news Article. The Journalist really nailed the Clim-Astrologists.

When it comes to climate change, we have to trust our scientists, because they know lots of big scary words

    • Phil Jones says:

      Still waiting… And waiting… Since 1957… Since 1910…

Waiting for the Arctic to Melt… Predictions to come true… LOL!!

  3. Stevenkross says:

I agree. The experts in warming propaganda depend on weather’s historical facts remaining hidden from the majority. How else could they continue to propagate their agenda? That’s one of the things I appreciate about Tony taking the time to research and post news articles and photos from the past where the world was a “safer” place to live meteorologically because CO2 was below present levels. The experts can’t deny the facts. They just try to hide them. Thanks Tony!

  4. omanuel says:

Thank you, Steven, for tracking the record of government deception every closer to the start when the United Nations was formed on 24 Oct 1945 and:

    1. The Sun’s internal composition was changed from iron in 1945 to hydrogen in 1946, and

    2. Repulsive forces between neutrons that destroyed Hiroshima on 6 Aug 1945 became attractive Yukawa forces in the standard nuclear model.

  5. Let’s hope Abe was about AGW.

You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

    Abe Lincoln

  6. gator69 says:

If it does not fit the nutter narrative, it is ‘weather’, a ‘pause’, or a ‘blip’. Sane people would call it all climate change.

    • Gail Combs says:

Slingo in the UK got the equivalent of being knighted (Dame) for the 100% wrong MET office predictions year after year.

All that matters is whose rear you kiss.

  7. nigelf says:

The present is also wrecking their story.

    • Gail Combs says:

Look at Japan, Record snow two years in a row. Over a dozen people dead, buildings collapsed, transportation halted….

Look at India, Record snow, record cold. Over 50 people dead, buildings collapsed, transportation halted….
      (See IceAgeNow)

The Prime Minister of India didn’t bother to go to Lima. India has tossed out any foreign Greenpeace agitators. And the latest is an absolute riot.

      Can yoga solve climate change?

The UN has adopted a resolution declaring June 21st as the International Yoga Day.
The idea was put forward by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his UN speech, calling yoga India’s gift to the world and suggesting the spiritual aspects of Yoga can provide a solution to climate change.….

What an elegant way to tell the touchie-feelie progressives to go stuff it, India is not going to cripple her economy by banning fossil fuel and coal.

  8. bleakhouses says:

Who was that Nansen guy providing real data back at the turn of the 20th century? Certainly he was setting a bad example for his near namesake of the future who can’t be bothered with empirical studies.

  9. Marsh says:

    Look at Britain today… it’s Snow & Sleet – heading to a deep freeze ( -15 C ) by the New Year.
Last Winter, British Airports didn’t have enough Snow Plough’s ; some Airports are closed today.
There are media articles that point to the possibility of lowest temp’s for the UK in a 100 years
by Winters’s end ; Yoga might also be good there as a means of keeping warm and supple !

    • Yoga? I’m not sure where you’ve seen it but it’s definitely a misspelling. It’s toga.

Togas were in fact once popular as a means of keeping warm and supple but only in much warmer climates. It is emphatically not recommended for the British Isles, this style guy’s opinions notwithstanding:

      • Gail Combs says:

        Colorado,

They need those togas, and overcoats and mittens and boots and blankets in BANGLADESH of all places. I doubt they are worrying about sea level rise when they are freezing to death…

  10. ren says:

Snow will be even in North Africa.

Congratulations, Steven. You’ve just hit another home run.

  12. Centinel2012 says:

Reblogged this on Centinel2012 and commented:
There is a lot more control over the past than the future as this chart shows! So its easy to make a current number look either hotter or colder than some previous number!

  13. rah says:

I have a question. As of Sept last year 114 out of 117 Climate models over estimated global warming to the extent they are outside their own calculated variability limits. Have any of the other three suffered the same fate of being proven they are absolute crap since then?

  14. Ernest Bush says:

It will be interesting to see their responses as the increased snow locks up water in glaciers and permanent snow packs over the next decades. This is bound to show up in a drop in sea level too large to hide.
