  1. I knew it all along! While my kids were growing up, whenever the subject came up at the dinner table I always said that Nero couldn’t have been smart enough to play a violin. He was probably just golfing instead. Like Henry VIII getting credit for writing the song Greensleeves. If the two lived during the same time period they could have taken an apartment together and been like Simon and Garfunkel.

  6. That aquaduct is an example of over engineering. If it had been designed by a modern civil engineer it would have collapsed 1,800 year ago.
