But that is only half of the hockey stick. Some of Gavin’s finest tampering is done in the 1990’s data.
Hansen 1999 showed no net warming during the 1990’s
In 2001, the GISS website also showed no net warming during the 1990’s
But GISS now shows the 1990’s as the fastest warming decade.
They built the rest of the hockey stick by simply making up data.

The animation below shows the spectacular alterations to GISS 1990’s surface between 2001 and 2015, tripling the warming during the decade.
We also know that the post 2000 warming is fake, because none of the other data sets show any warming post 2000.
In summary, the entire blade of the hockey stick is a fraud, from one end to the other.
Amazing how far “science has progressed” (a common alarmist excuse) in less than 15 years, eh?

Goodwill and trust are earned. For many years NASA truly earned goodwill, trust and admiration from the public.
These things are not guaranteed. If the public at large believes they are being scammed that trust will be gone for a very long time.

What few realize is that the debate on climate change (as well as other things) has actually become a debate on trusting authority. Many people are simply seeing that the experts by which rule by expert is accomplished are untrustworthy. In the end the battle lines are falling along those who still trust authority because it is all they know and those who have learned that experts have abused trust to the point that they should no longer be trusted under any circumstances.
I’ve found it doesn’t matter how much data I show, those who trust authority cannot be swayed by data. I’ve found people simply feel, react emotionally, and when they have the option of realization they have been duped or want to continue being duped and socially acceptable, they choose the later. Or sometimes it’s simply questioning the experts of authority that they find unacceptable. I believe it makes them uncomfortable. They become rather vicious and attack along social lines. Climate change isn’t even the most vicious of these debates, that goes to vaccines.
You are correct. Once the eyes are open to the fraud in the government and MSM you start to question everything.
As a starting point I have found the bankers to be a really good wedge. Most whether Progressive or Conservative can see the Federal Reserve Fraud. So if we can see the fraud why has Congress allowed the fraud to suck the wealth from the citizens of this country for 100 years? If Congress blesses the Fractional reserve fraud what other frauds have Congress blessed for their wealthy cronies?
I agree that it is the biggest crack, but I haven’t had much luck with that beyond ‘the bankers are crooks’. People still believe in authority, believe in experts. They still believe in all the mechanisms the bankers and wall street use to steal from us are somehow necessary or people will all be starving in the streets. They still believe in everything that experts like Krugman put forth. They see the wealth and income inequality and then clamor for more of the very policies, regulations, laws, etc that caused it.
I don’t think this can be solved until either total collapse or breaking the hold on the schools. Sadly it’s not like the movies, not like “The Running Man” (the first film) where it’s just taking over the TV signal and showing people the truth. People just wouldn’t accept the truth into their perception. It wouldn’t do any good.

Until it impacts their lives and really shakes them up they rather be blind, deaf and dumb unfortunately. That is what the Elite count on. They hope to have the slave collars snapped shut before the general population wakes up.
I just keep chipping away one person at a time. At least now I find a greater percentage of people awake compared to 2005.

Another good wedge for talking with people is the data for unemployment and inflation.

“Maybe… but remember, the people who tell us that are the same people who tell us unemployment is under 6% and inflation is 2%! Me? I don’t trust them on ANYTHING!”
This is so obviously fraudulent; and needs to be investigated in open committees in the senate and house. It needs to be brought out in the open so that all citizens can see how criminals work and understand how we’ve all been taken to the cleaners for so many years and so many billions of dollars.

Worldwide adoption of “Better Red Than Dead” philosophy would explain why scientists in Asia, Europe, United States, South America, Africa and Russia all adopted Fred Hoyle’s 1946 change in the internal composition of the Sun without discussion or debate.

The experts are funded because their work empowers government. The opposition comes from a conflict of gravy chains not any fundamental issues of principle or doing science correctly. The “climate change” bandwagon has become so wide and vast, that I don’t see anyone in government doing anything to expose the scientific fraud.
The so-called “climate scientists” are primarily paid by the government to say what they say. The government will not stop the scam. They are the ones who ordered it in the first place.
Yes, governments do not prosecute those who follow orders.

Another solid video, at 12 minutes long, I’ll link to inline: Climate Change in 12 Minutes – The Skeptic’s Case with David Evans. The basic argument against the leftist climate loons is made very well. And we should get down pat what Dr. Evans says. It boils down to the loons say CO2 should cause 1.1° of warming and then we have 3x amplification. It turns out that amplification should be negative, arguably at 0.5x. So instead of 3.3°C of warming for a doubling of CO2 we get only about 0.55° warming, and that’s like going from 300ppm to 600ppm, only half a degree, and that would probably be washed out by the slightest natural variation. Considering that CO2 has been rising dramatically over the last 2 decades, and we’ve had virtually no warming, I’d tend to think the skeptic’s case is correct. And honestly, I’m a fan of this 4 minute video that, in looking at the ice core data, shows zero evidence of ANY effect of CO2 on temperature.

Steve , this would be a lot more powerful if you could exactly line up the first two charts with the same scales and positions. Might be hard to do but worthwhile.
