Atmospheric temperatures has risen about 0.1 C since 1988, and all of the warming occurred before 1998. The good doctor was off by a factor of 20X to 40X

Setting aside that out climate is ALWAYS changing, it is hard to justify that climate change is happening now BECAUSE of man when it happened before WITHOUT man.

Old newsprint is grainy. What he meant was 0.2 to 0.4 C./s
And I think the good CSIRO doctor is off by infinity. If the temperature record were properly recorded and allowances for UHI accounted for; the Earths temperature would be less than that experienced in the 30’s and 40’s and at the turn of the century. The only rise in temperature shown on the satellite record will be offset by declines not yet experienced as part of the PDO cycle.
Of course, he is referring to scientists that predicted an oncoming ice age, back in the mid 70’s.
