If modern academia would ever recognize the fact that credentials/degrees to not necessarily equal competency then I might start taking them seriously. But they won’t because if that were the case a high proportion of a top echelon would be out of a job. The way things are the likes of Hayhoe could only make it in either academia or government or some political agency/organization. Her ass would be on the street in the private sector in no time. This is all because over at Skeptical Science are saying this:

So once again we see there is absolutely nothing that can possibly happen that will falsify the AGW hypothesis.
Of course they are saying that. CO2 warms the world and causes everything. It even broke my van’s alternator last summer!
The reality is that it does take warmer air colliding with colder air. But to try and say that warmer air is the predominate reason for snow is just ass backwards BS. In this case there was warmer air out over the Atlantic where one would expect it to be which set off the collision. Joe Bastardi showed this several times last week in comparing how this recent storm was developing to past storms going back to the 50s and 60s well before AGW was supposed to have started.
So what these people are telling us is that it has snowed in the Northeast since time immemorial, but not it snows because CO2. What kind of stupid are these people made of?
